Rated 5 out of 5 by from A luxurious, richly pigmented matte lipstick that The Gucci Rouge à Lèvres Mat lipstick is absolutely luxurious from start to finish. The texture is soft and velvety, gliding smoothly onto the lips without tugging. It has a true matte finish that still feels comfortable and non-drying, which is impressive for a matte formula. The pigmentation is rich — one swipe gives full, even color that lasts for hours. I also appreciate that it doesn’t transfer excessively and fades evenly rather than patchy. The quality feels premium, from the elegant gold packaging to the creamy consistency and subtle floral scent. It’s definitely a splurge, but it feels like a special treat every time I use it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Summer in a tube This shade is insanely fun. I thought it would be a red orange Iike most lippies but it’s a neon true orange. So much fun. I definitely will do it with different makeup. A simple bronze look and this bold lip. For going out during the day or at night. It’s not heavy or uncomfortable. I did notice that it has kind of like a blue undertone that shows up when you try and layer it. I feel like it should be a little more opaque but you can build it up without it being too drying or heavy. It doesn’t dry down so it definitely transfers and I ended up with orange all over my hands and face but it was worth it! Such a fun lipstick

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Gucci rouge à lèvres [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got randomly chosen to test out Guccis Rouge a levres matte lipstick in the color - they met in Argentina which turned out to be a very lovely nude pink shade. I was very impressed with the classic looking packaging by Gucci, but of course I expected nothing less from them. The lipstick itself has a wonderful, light fragrance to it and it glides on really smooth. The color was a nice shade that I feel like could be used by a various of skin tones, but my only negative on the lipstick was that it came off too easily and it had to be reapplied a lot throughout the day.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gorgeous lipstick I love this lipstick 208 They Met in Argentina, Rouge à Lèvres Matte Lipstick from Gucci. It is packed beautifully with a gold tube and a floral design. The lipstick has a gorgeous red shade that suits my skin tone and makes me feel stunning. The texture is smooth and velvety, and I can apply it effortlessly. The pigmentation is incredible, and it covers my lips with just one swipe. The finish is matte, and not drying or flaky at all. It stays on for hours without fading even after eating and drinking. The packaging is also gorgeous, with a gold tube and a floral design. Definitely recommend this lipstick.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gucci Lipstick Matte in Peggy Taupe First of all pay attention to what finish the colour you like is. I was after the Peggy Taupe and did not even think that the matte is a different colour than the Peggy Taupe in satin. Once the mistake was rectified with an extra trip to Sephora, I can now post my thoughts on this lipstick. The colour is beautiful, an expensive-looking mauve-pink that is cool, but not very cool. It is a matte, but not drying lipstick with a fairly thin texture, but the colour saturation is incredible. You only need to swipe once and you’re good to go! I am very pleased with it. The packaging is gorgeous and has a nice weight to it, making it feel high-end. The formula is creamy for a matte, gliding on smoothly without tugging. It gives a bold, rich color payoff in just one swipe and wears comfortably for hours without drying out my lips. I love how even the matte finish still looks soft and elegant rather than flat. Rated 4 out of 5 by from it’s cute but it needs… [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have very high standards for a matte lipstick so I was very hesitant about how this would play out. But I did like how easy the application was especially for a matte lipstick. It seemed like it had some hydrating properties. Although it was matte, it didnt pass the long wear test for me. For myself, i had to put a liner on because the richness of the color covered my natural lip line. Its chocolate girl friendly but I would recommend a liner. I would definitely suggest this product if you dont mind reapplying every so often.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great matte lipstick have in a few unique colours The coral and lavender are my favourites! Gucci is one of my all-time favorite overall brands, and definitely doesn’t disappoint. I am very fond of these matte lipsticks and pray that I will be able to find a replacement when this lavender shade wears down because this lipstick is one I get a ton of compliments with, and “where did you get that?” It also tends to stay on well, I’m a big fan of matte lipsticks and Gucci designs many of their colors schematics on that seasons fashion line and so there are many of my fashion pieces from around the same time that match really well!
