Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful - my new favourite The price is quite high but when I bought mine there was an incentive of a free gift, which made the price more reasonable. I bought this lipstick in Smoking Plum colour. I absolutely adore it. The colour is rich and I find I can wear it in summer or winter. It certainly moisturises your lips too. As some have said before, the staying power is not fantastic but then as it wears off, it gradually fades and does not stain your lips as I have found with other brands. I prefer this and reapply it as I need. The cylinder is pretty too, looks like a luxury product. Such a pretty colour and lovely product all together - highly recommend it. I will need to pick another colour to try.

I've tried other colours in the rouge volupte shine range and find that the texture and finish is a bit different from colour to colour. 06 In Devotion is perfect for me because it's incredibly moisturising, sheer but also rich in colour. Somehow the formula means it spreads on the lips very comfortably, it provides a decently pigmented but still somewhat natural finish with one swipe. The colour seems to tint my lips so it fades gradually over the day instead of just wiping off. You can easily add a second or third layer for extra colour. I always have dry lips and use lip balms/lip sleeping packs sometimes, but this didn't dry out my lips like other lipsticks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My favorite one I bought this one two weeks ago. I used to have ysl gloss, what I adored. When I tried it, it was the familiar scent! I love it, it’s a medium coverage, it is soft, perfect for everyday. And the packaging is like a jewel in my handbag. I will buy another one, I actually already have! Hey it’s Christmas anyway! Would recommend this.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Good product bad service I bought number 80 a month ago through the YSL official website. I signed up for the newsletter purely because of the 10% off first purchase voucher. However, after signing up 2 times using different email accounts, I did not receive any voucher. This put me off a bit, however since I was desperate for it I bought it anyway. During the checkout process I was told I would be given 2 samples. Once again, I did not receive them. Dear YSL, before promising your customers benefits, please make sure you actually fulfill them. Thank you.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointing! I am a huge fan of YSL make-up & have several eye kohl’s & lipsticks so was eager to receive this. However once you get past the first seconds of dreamy balm texture, there’s literally nothing there-it just disappears from the lips. Further, the colour I ordered is blatantly peachy orange in the tube/bullet however goes on a light pink. Disappointing!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not happy I bought this lipstick today whilst purchasing my usual touché eclait. Turns out to be an expensive mistake as it smells revolting. It also tastes the same as it smells - not that I go around eating my lipstick but it’s natural to lick your lips at some point. £29.00 for a lipstick is not cheap either, it’s certainly more than my usual brand. So disappointed and a waste of money for me!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Moisturising lipstick I bought this gorgeous red lipstick to replace one I had just finished and it never fails to disappoint. It’s the best red, moisturising and has a lovely shine so no need for lip gloss. Really delighted with this gorgeous lipstick.
