Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what I’ve been looking for [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been looking at purchasing a powder for a while now as with the hot weather I’ve been looking shinier than I would like mid way through the day! This is perfect, it sets my make up well, with out feeling like my face is caked in powder. In fact it doesn’t feel like adding an extra layer at all. I like the universal shade, saves the hassle of trying to colour match and it truly does blend in. Most importantly, it lasts. I’ve lost that shiny, been in the heat too long look that was bothering me and my make up looks as good at the end of the day as it did when I first applied it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Surprisingly different [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was in the market for a pressed powder and took delivery of this one and was surprised to find it to be white in colour, I expected a natural colour and wasn’t sure if it would work for me. However, I wanted to try it as instructed on the packaging I applied it over My Touché Eclait foundation and it gave a wonderful smooth finish and quite a matte look for me. I don’t have shiny areas usually on my skin but during the recent hot weather with the extreme humidity it would have been a boon. The velvety finish was something I would wear on nights out especially dining out when rooms can become overheated.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Matte Finish [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With combination skin, I find that many face powders don't eliminate shine and often look 'cakey' on my face. However that isn't the case with All Hours Setting Powder, which is long-lasting, gives an invisible natural finish and leaves skin feeling silky smooth. I love the double-sided applicator which makes it easy to use this powder to both set make-up and touch it up later in the day. As with all YSL products, the packaging is beautifully stylish and elegant.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice powder [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Personally, I like loose powders, but I decided to give this powder a chance. I also prefer transparent colors. My skin is oily very oily. There is also an advantage because I don't have many wrinkles. My skin usually starts to shine after about 2 hours. Of course, I never expect miracles from powders and I used various ones. This has done quite well, I'm happy with the results. Someone with less oily skin will be really satisfied with the purchase of this powder.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Setting powder for all! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although white, this YSL All Hours Setting Powder in Universal Shade should be suitable for all. As you would expect, the packaging of this powder is classy and sleek. Hidden underneath the powder compartment is a double sided sponge. One side is used for initial application and the other for any “touch ups” required during the day. I found this powder so mattifying that I didn’t need to use it again all day. I certainly takes away any shine. The reason for the loss of a star is because I found it settled a little in the lines around my eyes so I think I need a lighter touch in that area. If you need to combat shine, then this is the powder for you!

I have a very oil t-zone and that's even with using an oil absorbing primer and blotting papers so this is a god-send! I use it after I have applied my makeup and throughout the day when I feel a bit shiny as it is very effective at absorbing the relentless oil. It also smells lovely and fresh. I have the colourless one which melts into my makeup no matter what colour it is ... can't be without this product now!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A marvel in a great packaging! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This YSL setting powder pleasantly surprised me. At first I was a bit skeptic of its color, it's completely white! But fear not, when you apply the powder on your face it doesn't look white and it really does keep things on its place. I have to say that YSL excelled with the packaging this time, I absolutely love it. In addition, as it is customary from YSL products, the powder has a lovely rose scent. Overall, this is a great product and it is every penny worth!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Average [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was somewhat confused with the packaging, although beautiful casing, I couldn’t find the application sponge (it is hidden beneath the palette). Initial application with the sponge was tiresome, this product is buildable coverage, but I don’t have time to do this justice, so I use a regular powder puff to apply it which I found so much easier. Then the results were better. I have the Universal Shade and I apply it on top of my foundation. It is a good matte coverage which I don’t need to top up.
