Rated 5 out of 5 by from Water Battle Fun [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our new Nerf Super Soaker Rainstorm is the perfect addition to my kids’ summer water weapons. Due to it’s heavy weight when filled, as it holds 22 ounces of water, it’s best suited for kids over 6 years. The bright orange and blue gun fills quickly by inserting it and pulling back the handle drawing water from a pool or large bucket. It shoots out quickly from the numerous tiny pinholes on the gun barrel, by pushing in the handle. Refilling it quickly is necessary because it all shoots out at once in a drenching blast of water. Therefore it’s best to use during pool time where it can be reloaded quickly. Beware that the intended target accuracy is pretty exact! Lots of fun for all and I’d recommend all things Nerf!

We recently had the chance to go on vacation somewhere warm and they begged to bring their new Super Soakers with them. This is the first time we’ve gotten one of the Rainstorm guns, but they had so much fun with it. It put out a decent amount of water, and aim was surprisingly accurate. We only had one of this type before, but I think I’m going to have to get a second so that they don’t fight over it.

So you get a bucket full of water and put the nerf soaker inside, pull up the handle and that’s what gets the water into the nerf soaker. You then push in the handle and that releases the water. It is like small waterfall & it really does soak you. . It’s simple to use. Great water toy to have in this hot summer heat. Kids had a blast and it got them to go outside. That’s always a plus for me. Lol

They sure don't make things like they used to they should have a fill chamber so you don't have to keep on submerging the gun every time you want to shoot water. I don't recommend this for anyone that wants to get into a serious squirt gun fight. The plastic is cheap and it started to bend after an hour of use.

All u have to do for my kids is put a bucket or small swimming pool full of water, and let them go at it !!! It's very easy to use. My 3 year old can even use it. Just sucks the water right up inside it and then push it out with the handle. Gives them a good workout also haha

My kids love having water fights and this thing shoots a good stream. It holds 22 ounces so not filling up every few seconds. My kids love to use these around the pool. No issues found with this upon opening and using. Good quality, seems like it should last a while. If your kids love water fights as much as mine, need to give this a try.

You need to suck water out of a bucket for each time that you shoot it, but it shoots so much water that it is worth the work of staying near a bucket of water. My kids who are 6, 8, and 11 all love it. The quality is wonderful like all of the nerf products that I own. I will recommend this to others and keep it in mind for gifts.

It’s been a huge hit at the pool and while playing with buckets of water outside. It’s easy to refill, not heavy and even my 4 year old uses it! The kids love how the water comes out like a rain shower! It’s especially fun when you have more than one for a water fight.
