Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wow, Wow, and Wow! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is a very rare day when I try a new product and get blown away right out of the box! Let me explain why. Being an active part time muscian for over 40 years and being an audio nut when introduce to same back in the 60's, I am a audio snob. If it dosen't rock my socks and provide the clarity to make my ears dance I quickly move on. My ultimate test was playing all sorts of music from head banging, big band, and everything in between. What I got was an experience that was surprising and satisfying on all levels. Highs, mids and bass were expertly engineer to provide a very pleasing balance. Plus the comfort was terrific after two plus hours I forgot that they were on my head. JBL B.T. connection has proven to be fast and reliable and these are no exception. Phone calls were clear on both sides. They do leak sound, but not something I care about unless I am in public venue. JBL hit this one at of the ball park. Sound quality, easy p z connection, and ultimate portability, sign me up!

I need earphones that are comfy, easy-to-carry, and that have a long-lasting battery life. For me, these earphones check the comfy aspect because they go over the ear, with a snug fir, and not directly in your ear which can be uncomfortable. In addition, their box is very easy to carry and can fit in your pocket. Lastly, these earphones have a very long battery life which is amazing since I only have to charge them two times a week max. In the end, these earphones bring so much value to my life since I need them for work and fitness-related purposes.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A really good alternative to sealing earbuds [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The idea behind these is great - because they don't go directly into the ear canal I can wear them comfortably for longer periods of time and JBL did a really good design on the way they can move and snap in place to fit you personally. But at the same time I think this also causes some loss in the sound quality compared to other sealing headphones that I have from JBL. They also have a little less battery life per charge than some of my others. If you are looking for open ear design I would still recommend these but just know going in they might not be equal to other JBL headphones you may own.

The fit snug over my ears and the three position option to cover your ears are fantastic. I've been in several meetings with these and nobody can tell I'm wearing headphones and claim to hear me perfectly. I've had awesome audio quality when in said calls as well as just listing to music. The case is super light and I've forgotten it's in my pocket most days. So far, great battery life between the case and earphones. The included neack piece is nice, it will get lost easily, wish the case had a way to store it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from User Friendly and Comfortable These are good to use around the house and garden when I'm doing chores or gardening. Very easy to use - they switch on and connect as soon as you take them out of the case. I particularly like the touch button control which I can use even with grubby garden gloves on. They are just ON ear not IN ear so allow all the surrounding noise to be heard which is why they are no good in town or wherever there is loud noise. I have different earphones for that anyway. I like these because they do not hurt my ears even if worn all day. Range is not bad but not as good as my JBL headphones. That said, they are way smaller and more comfortable, so can't complain.

I love how easy and comfortable to wear without compromising the sound quality. I wore them jogging and decided to wear the additional band that came with them and you would never know their on. Also comes with an adoring charging case that very slim and easily fits anywhere. In my opinion they are the bees knees. I have to highly recommend them. You will not be disappointed. Keep up the great work JBL.

I found these to be very comfortable with or without my glasses on. Easy tap controls on the headphones to change songs or volume. Connectivity to my phone was easy. Comes with a headstrap if you don't feel secure without it but I found them to fit just right.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I finally have around the ear audio with QUALITY!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to try these out since I was never a big fan of ear buds. I had always used earphone that were either studio monitor headphone or, when being active, small earphones that hooked around your ears. (WAS JBL reading my mind??) So I now have these around the ear audio buds that are wireless and have AMAZING JBL audio. The drivers are these are quite large and are able to provide plenty of bass without stuffing something into your ear canal - and I truly appreciate that. It has always been one of my biggest gripes with traditional earbuds. But these sit outside of your ear canal and provide the audio quality you expect from JBL. This does allow for ambient sound awareness at all times which is fine for me at all times except when using power equipment. At those time I will continue to use noise cancelling products, but these earphones are a big winner for me!! And really, the amount of bass that is present is exceptional! I don't know how they do it, I'm just glad they did!! The case is larger than any earbud case I have had before, but that is expected since the ear phones are also larger. I have yet to really even get close to full discharge on either the ear phones or the case. My assumption is that battery life is longer on both since they have more space for batteries. It definitely outlasts my previous since I go to charge out of habit and the status bar glows at me saying "Really?? Give me a workout!!" These do come with a band that affix the the end of each ear loop and go around the back of your neck. This is a great accessory for extra strenuous activity that might cause the ear phones to dislodge. Just an extra bit of security that I appreciate. And f course, there is a JBL app that you can download that lets you customize the sound of your earphones. In the app, you can pick a predetermine equalizer setting, or adjust to your own liking. You can also change the 'gesture" settings to whatever you are used to, adjust balance, and even set a power off time for the phones. I really only have two complaints and these are really nitpicky. Neither one affects these ear phones at all. 1) The length of the charging cable provided could be a few inches longer. I don't know if it's just my house, but whenever using a JBL plug, the cases are kind of dangling in air. Just a few more inches would allow it to sit flat on my counter top. 2) The provided band that connects to the ear phones have to travel on their own. There is no way to attach the band to the case when traveling to keep thing together. At the same time, I do not have a better solution for this either, so I don't blame JBL for providing the nice bonus of the head band. Again, neither of these complaints detracts from this fabulous setup and I am extremely pleased with this product!!

Does it have noise cancellation

Thanks for your question. Our JBL Soundgear Sense does not have active noise cancellation (ANC). Instead, it uses OpenSound technology, an open-ear design that lets sound in and out naturally, so you can still hear your surroundings.

do you need the case in range to stay conected?

Thanks for your question. The earbuds will remain connected to your phone even without the charging case. The case is solely for charging and does not interrupt the Bluetooth connection.

When you are on phone A , incoming call from phone B , switch call to phone B . I want to know if the phone A put on hold or turn off

Thank you for your question. We tested our JBL Soundgear Sense and used the multipoint connection feature. When on a call on Phone A, if there is an incoming call on Phone B, the call will not switch; it will remain on Phone A, and the sound from Phone B will go to the speakerphone. The call on Phone A will neither be put on hold nor turned off.

Can it hold 2 conversations on 2 phones at the same time ?

Thanks for your question. Our JBL Soundgear Sense can be paired with two devices at the same time through multipoint connection, but it can only play audio or handle calls from one device at a time. You would need to pause or end the activity on one device before switching to the other.

How long should the case take to charge.

Do you recommend this product or another JBL product for wearing whilst sleeping? I need something that won't fall out my ear when I turn over. It shouldn't make me sweaty like wearing over-ear headphones
