Out of the package to hooked up and playing music was about 2 minutes. It is extremely lightweight and blends right into my desk without being too obtrusive. I have listened to various radio stations, podcasts , and music to test out the sound quality. It is crisp and clear with all audio I have tried on it. Good bass response for a smaller speaker. No lag with connectivity. The casing is smooth and stylish and the controls are easy to use. It went for a good 8 hours on a full charge on my desk. Premium sound in a small package. Price is on point, as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I bought this speaker a couple of weeks ago for a small bluetooth speaker I could carry around at ease but still packed a punch. Unfortunately around the 5th time of using it, I left it outside and my puppy chewed it and dropped it in our 8 foot deep pool. After retrieving the speaker and letting it dry in the sun, it started right back up as if it was brand new! Although i’m unhappy with the chew marks obviously I am in love with this product’s durability and sound quality!! 10/10 recommend

Rated 5 out of 5 by from "That little speaker packs a big punch" [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These were the words of one of the other players on my card as we were playing a round of disc golf entertained by the new JBL GO 3. My journey with JBL started with the original JBL GO. In fact, to this day, it is still in my travel bag to go wherever I am traveling. This version improves on that original design substantially in Bluetooth connectivity, sound, playing time, and ruggedness for the outdoors. Bottom line: JBL has packed a lot into a little package plus with the weatherproofing and IP67 rated construction that helps it survive both wet and dusty environments the JBL Go3 is the ultimate outdoor companion.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Impressive for a small package! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This speaks his small but mighty! It feels solid, and looks good. Would appeal to both kids, tweens and adults alike. I connected to it with my phone instantly - no messing about there or problems. It came with charge straight out of the box and was ready to go. It holds a good bass, the volume was easily loud enough and had good depth. There is a small bit of distortion at very loud volumes with a heavy beat but that's to be expected from such a small speaker. Overall I was really impressed with this for the price point. Im looking forward to adding it to our paddleboarding pack! Its going to be awesome on the water, and at home in the shower!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from fantastic mini speaker! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The JBL GO 3 is a great little portable bluetooth speaker. It has a premium look and feel with a clip loop making it even easier to take with you. I have the black/grey one and the woven exterior is very visually appealing. Not to mention waterproof and dustproof, so taking it to the park or the beach is safe! I've used it outside on a rainy day, while hiking, around a campfire, and quite often in my apartment. This mini speaker has good volume and projection. Surprisingly loud for such a small unit and the sound doesn’t distort even at max volume. It also has an unexpected bass response for its small size! Really has a good OOMPH! I’d also like to mention how quick and easy it is to connect to a device. I haven’t had any issues when connecting a new device or having a friend connect, which is great! The buttons are very responsive. There is a power button, bluetooth connect button, volume buttons, and a pause/play button. Simple and sleek. The battery life has not been an issue; I’ve never had it shut off due to low battery and I use it quite often. The JBL GO 3 also has an automatic shut off feature. When the speaker is in idle (not connected to any device) it will turn off in about 15-60 seconds. If the speaker is connected to a device, but not receiving any audio input, it will automatically turn off in about 10-15 minutes. Great features! All in all, this is a really solid mini speaker. I would highly recommend!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Functions great, form needs improved Great little mini speaker. I wish it was a little bit louder. My biggest issue is that I bought two of these, one for my husband and one for me. The rubber it “stands on” is peeling off. I know I can probably glue it on, only the one piece peeled completely off and is missing. Same thing is happening with my husband’s. One star because I figure people only read the one star or the five star reviews, but it is a decent little speaker.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 10/10 recommendation This is my 3rd JBL speaker, The Flip 5, The Go 3, The Go 2, and I have noise canceling headphones (I can’t remember the the exact model). All are great quality, the flip 5 has the best sound quality and great bass. I just got the Go 3 and it has great quality as well. As expected with a smaller package the bass is not quite as good. The Go 2 is good at lower volume but gets slightly distorted at max volume. I have nothing bad to say about the headphones, just one critique I have is the AUX cord has a different male port that plugs in to the headphones. Other that that they are all great and I would recommend 10/10

PACKED INTO A LITTLE SPEAKER [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this in the mail a couple days ago and you would think that it’s going to be a regular speaker that just looks good. No. This speaker packs a punch! It’s size is one thing because of its portability and design but it’s great if you take it on a bike ride, walks, at the gym, and a hike. I would definetly get more than one for your enjoyment!

With 2 GO 3s can they be set up for stereo sound?

Thanks for your question. Our JBL Go 3 cannot be paired with another Go 3 for stereo sound, as it doesn’t support speaker linking. If you are looking for a model that can pair for stereo and connect with multiple Auracast‑enabled JBL speakers, you can check out one of our JBL Portable speakers with Auracast such as the JBL Flip 7. Is the speaker compatable with charging in a 220-240v outlet or only a 110v?

When charging,does the red light stay lit

Thanks for your question. When charging our JBL Go 3, the red light indicator will stay lit to show that the speaker is charging. Once the battery is fully charged, the red light will turn off, indicating that charging is complete.

Is there an app I can download for the go 3?

Thanks for your question. Our JBL Go 3 does not support the JBL portable app. It’s designed as a simple Bluetooth speaker that works right out of the box. If you wish to explore third-party apps, you may search for one that suits your preferences, but please know that JBL does not guarantee compatibility or performance with any third-party applications.
