Rated 3 out of 5 by from Extreme3 not as good as original Extreme. I never thought that I would be disappointed with a JBL / Harmon product ( I have many) but the Extreme3 isn't what I expected. I have the original Extreme and it really kicks a full range, bass heavy sound, but I wanted a little more power for my rooftop parties so I ordered the 3 thinking it would be the same but better (100watts as opposed to 60watts). However it seems to have more mid-range and actually less bass then the original, with less high range. It's also slightly muddier whereas the the original is crisp and clear. Definitely better battery life though. I am returning it for a BoomBox3 which hopefully should do the trick.

The Extreme 3 is easy to carry around thanks to the strap and is very light for its size. The sound is very good, it fills up my kitchen, dining room and living room with music without issues. Once the Extreme 3 is connected to a power outlet I noticed a good bump in sound. The speaker can charge your smart phone via the USB-C port so that's a nice feature. This speaker is definitely good for a small get together or outdoor gathering without bothering your neighbors. I like bass and I just wish it had a bit more but overall it's a great speaker with very good sound.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from better than anyone could expect! Had a Charge 3, the battery went bad after 4 years of almost daily us. It performed better than expected for such a little speaker. After talking with a JBL customer service agent and determining the battery was bad, he offered me a 30% off coupon on a purchase of a new JBL product. I decided on the JBL Extreme 3, all I can say is WOW!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simply amazing! I bought this speaker with hopes of using it on the boat but also being able to use it around the house when not on the water. I am completely satisfied with the purchase. When on the boat, the sound is great at 35mph and I have absolutely zero complaints. Moreover, I have found myself using it around the house more than expected. I use it when grilling and today used it when I was cleaning up the garage. The carrying strap is super useful and the battery life is exceptional. It charges relatively fast and lasts for the entire day with battery life still remaining. Time will tell how long the battery will hold up and for this price I hope a very long tIme. Overall, I am quite pleased. Nice product!

It is slightly heavier than I thought it would be but it’s not too heavy. For the type of product this is I am very satisfied with the sound quality and the base quality. You can definitely feel the base from the speaker which I enjoy. I do wish that it had speakers on the back of it. Since it is round it would be cool if sound came out on both the front and back instead of just the front. But I still love it, the sound quality, and love that it has an added strap!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from balanced sound JBL is a brand of quality and great speakers, Xtreme 3 disappointed me a bit with the bass component. But after a few days I got used to it, the sound is cleaner, the treble is excellent. bass could be more. What disappointed me is charging, the USB C is really great, but the speaker only manages to charge with a 65w charger, that the 45w charger cannot be charged during operation. I thought that Samsung's chargers would be compatible, and everything would work. Unfortunately 45w is not possible.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Extreme 3 Boom Box 3 and 2 I love the waterproof rating. I listened to JBL since the 70's and they sound good. The Bose home smart speaker sounded better but I did not keep it either. Bose support needs attention and the need to update the bluetooth connection and get waterproof ratings updated. If the Extreme 3 had more base I would have kept it for portability. I hope an Extreme 4 is coming with more base!! I will buy it. I kept the Boom Box 3 because of sound quality, but can't put in backpack for traveling. The BoomBox 2 had more CLEAR base but no midrange. Please put the Boombox 2 subs (or 2 bigger ) in the Boom box 3, then you would have it!!!!!!!!

Where is the serial number

Thanks for your inquiry. Our JBL Xtreme 3 serial number can be found on the original box and underneath the charging flap, near the charging port, or near/on the wristband on a white sticker with this format: AA0000-AA0000000. If you need more help, please contact our customer support.

I assumed that at max Outputpower the power consumption at 7,4Volt is 60W / 7,4v = 8Ah .So the further consideration is that battery will last 5000mah / 8000mah = 37 minutes. Right ?

I understood that we can supply/charge the Xtreme 3 with two power bank at the same time, one for each USB port. Is it correct ? Or true is only that Xtreme 3 can supply two device at the same time ?

Thanks for reaching out. The port where you can plug the supplied charging cable on our JBL Xtreme 3 is for charging the speaker itself, it must be plugged into a power source to hold a charge. On the other hand, the type A port beside it is where you can plug one device to charge.

Yes, our JBL Xtreme 3 can be connected to a Laptop as long as it has Bluetooth or Aux input which can be linked via a 3.5 mm cable.
