regret to buy
Long waiting time after turning it on. It releases some water during turing on/off from some reason.
Small water container, you have to refill it frequently
Having problem with tray indicator, false alert and it doesn't let you to make a coffee.

Bad Steaming Wand
The problem with this machine is the steaming wand. Flat white is my preference, but there is no way to control the foam with the wand on this machine so you have masses of foam trying to overflow the jug by the time you get the milk up to temperature. Our previous version of this machine had a great seam wand where you could slide a little cover up or down to produce either flat or froth.
We work around this by taking the sleeve off the wand, which leaves you with a small plastic nozzle - not great by any means, but it works better than the cheap and nasty sleeve.
On a positive note, this machine's grinder is better than the previous version so the espresso flavour is much improved.
I've had this coffee machine for around 6 months now.

Very weak coffee - Disappointed
Purchased the Magnifica Start Coffee Machine six weeks ago. Have been very disappointed that the coffee is very weak. We have had the previous version of this for the past four years so understand how to use it. The coffee grounds are very coarse but there is no adjustment to make finer as it was already set to the finest setting when we received it. I think we got a faulty machine.

Great coffee machine, very happy
Best of both worlds, use fresh roasted beans and get a great tasting espresso at the touch of a button. Simple to use and produces great tasting coffee. The steam wand is easy to use and produces very good textured milk.

Magnifica Start
This has been an easy replacement for our previous machine. The set up was reasonably easy though took a few looks at the u tube videos to get it working efficiently. But are now loving the simple process of having my coffee each day

Good quality Coffee Machine at a fair price
This is our second DeLOnghi machine; the old one lasted almost 11 years. the new machine has a more user-friendly control panel and an optimised descaling process. Good quality for a fair price.
