Everything was well thought out and every place had a function! You most definitely want to read the Instruction book Before you start preparing your Best Espresso! After you've become efficient in using the 1200 EP 1220/04 Invite your Friends and Family over for a hot beverage! There are several options and you can make a recipe that works best for you.Then recommend what works best for you and what would work best for them when using your Philips Series 1200 EP1220/04 Fully Automatic Espresso Machine!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good coffee at the touch of a button We needed a budget automatic coffee machine and the Philips Latte Go 1200S Classic Automatic Espresso Machine ticked all the boxes. Friends of ours had one at the guest house and we were impressed by how easy it was to use and how it just worked and worked for many years. This gave us the confidence to buy the machine and we have not been disappointed. We love making good coffee from beans without all the fuss of more advanced machines. This one is so easy to use and clean and you have sufficient choice of coffee strengths.

We had a Jura Capresso that died of old age and we didn’t want to spend that much on a new machine. We saw the Phillips and figured we would try it. We set it up and crossed our fingers. It was quieter, a plus, seemed easy enough to use and when we took our first sip we were blown away. The coffee was perfect. Absolutely the way we love it. It’s been a couple of months and we couldn’t be happier. The coffee is consistently wonderful and the machine is a breeze to use and I love how I can put the parts in the dishwasher.

Causing electrical issues with my dishwasher now. If you want to get an appliance that you have to involve your home insurance within 10 minutes of owning...this is the product for you. I'm so let down.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Philips Morning espresso [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Philips-Series 1200 Fully automatic expresso machine is a coffee dream machine. The instructions are a little tricky if you’re new to the whole espresso machine experience. I got to say this machine saves me money being able to make our own espressos and coffee to our liking. The frothing part can be tricky to get your cup out if it’s too tall. So we just hold it and do it at a slant and wait for the recommended seconds. There’s many styles of coffee you can make with machine if you follow the proper steps. Once I got the hang of using it. I’d never want to go make to the older style ,plain coffee machine. You can also use grounded coffee in this machine. The expressos/ coffee taste so much richer than other coffe machine. I love the clean taste and the flavors of the coffee naturally come out. Loving this machine!

Cleaning the brew device appears simple in the video, but I have coffee grounds in a bunch of places and I’m not sure if that is user error from too fine a grind, or some issue inherent in the device. The flavor is generally good. I keep up with my filter changes (expensive as we have hard water so have to change more frequently). We had a similar machine years ago that lasted 10+ years, so we are hopeful this one will last as well.
