Failed to remove moisture, constantly icing upPurchased 6 weeks ago, went well for a while, then started icing up at the back, which then melted and made the carpet wet. Returned to shop, was replaced with a new one of same model, within 5 days same thing happening, and very little water captured, took 4 days to fill the 5L tank, despite having wet laundry hanging near it. Was told it is because it is winter it won't operate as it is too cold. However this was operating in our main living room with the heat pump running, keeping the room at a warm 20degrees. So if this dehumidifier can't cope with a heated room in winter, it is not fit for purpose. Returned for a full refund.

Excellent buy!This unit pulled over 7.5l of moisture out of the air in the first two days we ran it (8 hours one day, and 8 hours the next). Before all the windows would be wet in the mornings, but now they are bone dry. It's done a marvellous job so far and the house already feels much warmer overall. The unit runs fairly quiet for its size and is super simple to operate.

Sleek and efficient[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this in the peak of winter when the windows had a lot of condensation and trying to dry clothes was a nightmare. After just a few days of using this dehumidifier our house was noticeably drier. I didnt expect to feel the difference so soon. Very happy with this purchase.

Great features!I bought 2 of these. I used them yesterday for the first time when it rained and was very humid. They worked very well. After a few hours the humidity went down from 70% or more to 30% or less. It was good to see how much water was actually reduced in the water tank. I will use them overnight to reduce condensation in winter.

Hi Orchid, thanks for your question. You can clean the air filter. Use a vacuum to clean loose dust/dirt and wipe down with water mixed with diluted kitchen detergent. Please ensure the filter is dry before you resume using the unit. Hope this helps.
