Very nice feel
It is a nice product, a solid feel and a very nice solid sound when being use, not empty and clackity sound.
I have many kitchenaid products, all their blenders can be improved by the way the lids closes, eg, they general can be close from one side only and must be in a certainposition, and must turn one way, it would be nice if it can close from any position and turn.

Excellent, compact and powerful
I have just bought this food processor and initially thought it may be too small for my needs. However after processing a black bean chocolate cake in the processor, I am impressed. It also grinds the carrots and onions with ease. It took me a minute to work out how to unlock the lid, but am now expert at it. Very impressed with the compactness and the power. My pasta sauce, hamburgers, fritters, meatballs, quiches, etc are now a breeze to whiz up.

Great chopper
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased it last month and been using it for different purposes from chopping ingredients for chilli paste or grind some nuts using different setting and overall I'm impressed with the result. This is a chopper so don't expect the result to be the same like using a blender for much finer result. I think this operate and has the same function with the larger size of chopper, but I was looking for the smaller machine to frequently make my own chilli paste and this does the job. The only downside is the machine operate with wire which I'd personally prefer the wireless product. Still happy with the purchase.

Replacement for mini chopper delivers
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this mini food chopper to replace a different brand one that died. Was looking for more power and a more robust machine. Have been very happy with my Kitchenaid stand mixer so chose this brand to replace my deceased chopper. I find a mini chopper essential because I make a lot of small batch pastes and marinades. This one works brilliantly for curry pastes, Asian marinades, flavor bases for soups and stews and pestos. Does a brilliant job on salsa verde and the facility to dribble in oil to emulsify the mix works well. Easier to clean...an added advantage! It is certainly going to get a lot of use.

Exceptionally good
I had to wait nearly 4 weeks for the stock, but it was worth it. The blade is super sharp so be careful. I chose the mini due to lack of storage, thinking that the wattage may be too low. I was wrong, you can chop, whip almost puree anything in this. You just need to do a few batches and you honestly don't need the large one. I have the mixer in Empire Red to match and it's never faulted. Quality lasts so it's worth it. One thing to note, on the cheaper competitors, the blade is smaller and finer, this blade is a decent size, hence why it works well.
Lots of online reviews talked about the lid being difficult to get on and off. The first twist off was tricky and I can see what people mean, but after that, it is an easy pull clockwise to remove it and anti-clockwise to secure it. The cord tucks neatly into a groove and the blade, lid and bowl are dishwasher safe.
I just made sauce and chopped up some over ripe tomatoes, sugo made in seconds.

What you've been waiting for!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A year or two ago I bought a KitchenAid 9 cup food processor. It's been a god send but when I needed to work with smaller amounts to make a dip or something like a chimichurri, it struggled simply because of the size. So I waited and waited, and then finally bit the bullet and the mini food chopper. ALLELUIA! It works a treat, is super easy to assemble and use, with instructions that helped when I wasn't quite sure. The actual chopping mechanism (top of the handle) makes it very easy to get the exact consistency you need. If you're a food enthusiast and enjoy experimenting, you won't regret it. I certainly haven't.

Good for grinding coffee beans
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this to grind coffee beans. Also purchased a Breville with all the gadgets which works well but very loud. The Kitchen Aid grinds the coffee a little more finer. Had trouble to start with as everything was tight and I thought if I forced I would break. The lid only needs just a little bit offset the turn to lock then pulse. Same with locking the jug. After a couple of times easy as. Very good blade cutting for making coleslaw cabbage and carrot - just need one quick pulse. Purchased one for my son also. Would recommend. I have a powerful big blender but this is better for every day use on the bench.

Quiet & super efficient
My husband bought this for me after my very ancient but trusty small food processor's motor died. I'd got a new large replacement food processor but it just wasn't the same - too big for pestos and smaller quantities of ingredients. This KitchenAid chopper does the job of the old faithful, only better and quieter - a really great little machine! It's small enough to store easily too.
