Rated 5 out of 5 by from A must have for any kitchen I was gifted the SR-DA152WST 8-cup Rice Cooker in exchange for an honest review on Panasonic’s website. I haven't had a rice cooker for over 10 years, relying on making rice in a pot on my stove top so I was keen to try out the Panasonic rice cooker... well, I don't know why I waited so long to get a rice cooker. It takes the guess work out of making rice so I don't need to stand around waiting and checking to see if my rice is done. Also, it was very handy in making Filipino Lugaw (which is similar to congee) which I was craving for. The rice cooker has a congee function which I used for the recipe and it came out very lucious.

Finally came to the decision of buying this one and I'm so happy I did. Tonight I cooked 4 cups of rice, infused with ginger, garlic and spring onion. Along with 4 chicken things placed on top. Whilst steaming broccoli and bok choy all at the same time. I set the device to white rice, it automatically went to 37 mins on the inbuilt timer. It all came out to absolute perfection. The extra bonus was the kids all gave it the tick of approval. It's now on the weekly menu list. So easy to use and clean, I couldn't be happier with new kitchen appliance.

User friendly easy to use the menu functions that are listed on the front panel , easy to clean and look after , also love the stylish & professional look and the vibe it gives of... If your after a affordable rice cooker to do what you want I would personally recommend this as a option.. :-)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The new Panasonic SR-DA152 replaces our previous Panasonic rice cooker, which served us well for over ten years. The cooked rice remains just as delicious-each grain is distinct, with the perfect balance of softness and firmness. One major improvement is the heating plate: our old cooker often left behind water and rice stains that required cleaning after every use, but the new model solves this problem beautifully. The heating plate now stays almost completely dry. Overall, we're very satisfied with this upgrade and highly recommend it.

It’s elegant yet charming look, is a lovely visual appeal to any kitchen! I’m glad it’s in mine. This rice cooker works a great as it looks too! From the LED display being bright and clear, to the well labelled and layout of the buttons for ease of use. Last but not least being the inner Binchotan Charcoal pan coating, means no more stubborn stuck rice at the bottom of the pan! Saves me more rice on my plate, and time washing up the pan. Makes perfect rice every time. Great value as well. Would recommend for sure!

It’s super easy to use, and the rice always comes out fluffy and perfectly cooked. I love that it has a quick-cook option for busy days and a keep-warm function that actually keeps the rice fresh without drying it out. The non-stick pan is great for cleaning up quickly, and the extra features like making soup or steaming veggies are a bonus. Struggle putting together a healthy home cooked meal. So you know what…. We get take out. This happens day after day. After watching many videos explaining how easy it is to use the multi cooker, I now put together rice, chicken and vegetable dishes and already have meat marinating in the fridge ready to throw into the cooker along with some washed rice and broccoli after a long day at work! I let it sit while I wind down and shower. Not only did it save my life, it’s given me more time for my partner.

Thanks for your question. While it doesn't have a specific Sticky Rice setting on the user panel, it might still be possible, but would be down to trial and error of settings, and overall recipe. Hope this helps! ^CO
