Rated 4 out of 5 by from So handy, so many uses! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Tefal Home Chef Smart Multicooker is an amazing little machine. So many different cooking options. I didn't find the manual very helpful but once I started playing around with ingredients and settings, it was quite easy to get the hang of. The pressure cooking setting is amazing! Cooks foods in a fraction of the time it would take on the stove. So handy for me as a mum of 3 little ones when I leave dinner preparation way too late. The saute and slow cooking options were also really handy to use. Was so good to set, and forget. And the machine is silent to use. So happy with the cooker!

The instructions were easy to follow and the buttons on the multicooker were very clear. I was very happy with the cooking results. The food was very moist and tender. The only complaint that I had was that it took a little too long to heat up and reach the required pressure. I expected to have a meal prepared in just over 30 minutes but realistically it took over an hour. However, when compared to a slow cooker to achieve the same results, it is much quicker. But it still would be nice if it could reach pressure quicker.

After reading the instruction leaflet and seeing the recipe book gave me inspiration and confidence. I cook almost most nights so i was eagerly waiting to use this to make noodle soup and see how it compared. I love how quick and easy it was to prepare, set and forget without compromising on the flavours that you get having the soup simmer for hours on the stove top. It was so much easier than expected with 15 pre set programs and adjustable times. Definitely happy with the results, less time cooking and watching the stove and more time enjoying the finer things in life!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A cooking appliance to replace the rest [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was a little apprehensive to try this and read the instructions really well before starting the process. I looked at the different recipes in the book but decided that none of them were particularly what I would generally cook. I decided to make a stew and used the instructions. Once I knew what I was doing, it was such an easy process and just a couple of pushed buttons and 30 minutes later, I had a beautiful stew made! This is normally something that would take several hours to make. I was most impressed!! For the newbie, I guess it is a little daunting as you learn your way around the product but I can definitely see it replacing products in the household. Such a great cooking device!

The sear and sauté option meant that it was a one pot meal, which is great for clean up. It did take a little to reach pressure due to the large quantity inside, but well worth the wait. It was very easy to use and will definitely enjoy making many more dinners using this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One Pot Wonder [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Tefal Homechef Smartcooker makes dinner so easy, with multiple functions and preset settings. I've never used a pressure cooker before, so it was great to have the preset meat settings already there for me. I was able to cook beef ribs in a total of 45 minutes, it would usually take me 2-3 hours in the oven. The results were just as good, tender and falling off the bone. I loved that I can sear/saute in the cooker, then switch to the slow cooker. No more searing in a seperate pan on the stove.
