Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not as good as there other Kettles I bought this kettle to replace my old Breville Smart kettle which still works fantastic even after around 10 years of use. This kettle I bought to go with the matching Toaster. The things I don't like are water gauge behind the handle is very hard to see and the kettle beeps way to much for me. I like the colour. Unfortunately only after 16 months of light work it has stopped working so I am back to using my old Breville kettle which is a way better product I think. Also the Temset kettle only comes with a 1 year warranty where the Breville smart and others like it come standard with a 2 year warranty. I think that sums it up

Beautiful kettle, but it beeps SO LOUDLY when you turn it on... and also when you lift the jug off the base, when you put the jug back on the base, when you press the button, when it reaches the right temperature... It's absolutely crazy how loud and unneccessary the noise is, and we wish there were a way to turn off the sound. It's driving us a little mad.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great BRIVILll If you want to die, buy this!!! the ideal product I don't know what substance is coated inside the kettle, it is definitely not calcium deposits. If you wipe it with a scrubber, a black chemical substance will come out that cannot be removed by your hands. Oh my goodness, everyone, I know this company is a big conglomerate, doni need to lie ? I contacted customer service and they said they would respond later after checking the purchase receipt and reply again hahahahaha . it makes no sense... Since when did this black chemical product come out, they don't even apologize and just respond like this. I don't expect a refund. I hope everyone who lives in New Zealand knows this. There is also a video I took while washing it myself, so if you have any questions, please leave a comment. Purchase area-botany down When- 2023 around feb months Clean regularly-yes Only Water boiled hahaha

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very handy but the beeping is annoying Overall very good kettle, particularly like the temperature settings (its main selling point). Not a fan of the excessive beeps on every button press, when removing and replacing the kettle, when the temperature is reached. It just always finds a reason to beep. Fortunately the mechanism can be removed manually but this will void the warranty. It's annoying but overall still superior to my last kettle.

This kettle leaks large amounts of water all over the counter and the powered base, used it for roughly 6 months before it gave out. It's a serious safety concern. The kettle also had issues with the auto shutoff not triggering causing it to boil constantly. As others have mentioned this is a common occurrence, not sure how this model passed Breville's Quality Assurance systems. Also good luck trying to get a refund!! No wonder they no longer sell it

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Leaking - dangerous Developed a leak at the bottom of the handle writhing 6 months. Base get really wet which is a safer concern. Leak is likely due to a design fault, I note there are a lot of other reviews online with the same issue.
