Rated 1 out of 5 by from Design flawed We bought this kettle about 3 months ago. Initially it was working fine. However recently we have started seeing leaks happening from where the plastic ring surrounds the glass from the top shiny part when you try to pour water from it. It appears like a design flaw since the hot glass wears off the plastic in due course. Disappointed by this product and we are seeking a refund/replacement for this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great value Great kettle, looks nice when its turned on and very quick to boil. Wasn't my first choice but i brought it bia click and collect during lockdown. Overall though, i am very happy and pleasantly surprised by it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Sunbeam jug Had to return this jug 3 months after purchasing the plastic lip where water flows out cracked causing water leakage when pouring. Changed for glass jug no plastic.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor build quality - Sunbeam frost kettle Thumb operated switch that pops lid open failed after 6 days use, had to pry it open with knife and seems OK during last 7 days of operation. The pouring/filling mesh mechanism in spout is too fine and I'll have to remove it as you cant fill through spout, and pouring is slow. These were great kettles (have three in total) before this new model that has too many build flaws, advise not to buy the Sunbeam frost glass kettle.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very poor design ergonomics for a renowned brand As noted by other users, the pouring spout is poorly designed, the water doesn't flow evenly like most kettles, it kind of just falls out of the kettle. Additionally, the plastic construct on the top means the water doesn't give a smooth pour, hence hot water bouncing off the glass and splashes out the pouring spout, I've almost gotten scalded by boiling hot water whilst pouring content into a mug - definitely an OHS issue. Surprised how this could have been missed in the product testing and approved for manufacturing. This kettle will definitely be returned for a refund.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Big disappointment Purchased this 6 months ago. About a month ago I could no longer open the lid to refill as the mechanism had failed. Had to use a sharp knife to lift up the lid. Then one week ago, not one but two large cracks appeared on the inside of the plastic surround at the top of the kettle. Have returned to retailer who happily refunded my money and I purchased another brand. Very disappointed in this kettle as I have always bought Sunbeam products for their quality.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible spout This is my second Sunbeam kettle, my first was a KE6100 on which the lid opening button ceased working so replaced with then current model KE6200. No matter what level of water in the kettle or care exercised water splashes onto the bench when pouring. Yes the filter is clean and the same happens if you remove it, not advisable of course because of prolonged boiling and excess steam. My score of one star only may seem harsh but really there are only three functions needed: easy to fill, boil water, pour water without spilling.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Pouring I have had this kettle for a few months now and really regret getting it when pouring the water it spills everywhere and the other issue is the inside of the black seal at top has already cracked. DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL !
