Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed This is my 3rd Dyson V11 in the past 6 years. I loved my previous two but with time of course they needed replacement. I went ahead and ordered the V11 for the third time and for some reason it’s just not the same. The suction power on all 3 modes boost, med and eco all seem to be the same VS in my previous two vacuums there was a noticeable difference. I also feel like I have to spend more time vacuuming to get everything cleaned up and the battery doesn’t last me as long. I am Not sure if I received a defective item or if Dyson changed this model after my previous two purchases. Overall I’m Not very satisfied and I would not recommend this product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not worth it Bought this vacuum about a month ago and I have to say I am pretty disappointed. The suction isn’t nearly as strong as I would expect from a Dyson vacuum. And the battery life is terrible. I find myself using the “boost” mode to make up for the lack of suction and the battery doesn’t even make it 40 minutes fully charged. Even on the Eco and regular mode it does not get me through a complete cleaning of the two floors of my home. I constantly have to stop mid job to recharge the battery. The only thing I am happy with is that it is cordless. But I do feel like I made a mistake in purchasing this vacuum and I will be looking into other options.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good upgrade over the Animal I got this as an upgrade to a Dyson Animal that I had for years (with no problems). It was a good upgrade, the V11 has more power and a longer running time than the Animal. The attachments are fine, I use the wand and the rotary attachment the most, primarily to get dog hair out of my truck. This would be a 5-star review, but the downside is the battery life at full suction power is about 8 minutes. Eco is useless for dog hair on car seat material, the mid-level is ok, but takes longer than it does at full power. If Dyson had a battery that gave 20+ minutes at full power, this handvac would be even more awesome. Filtration seems to be fine.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Woeful dust bin Had a v7 motorhead that had stood the test of time but decided it was time for an upgrade. While the v11 has more suction, it isn't what I thought it would be going from the v7 to v11. While I like you can see how much run time you have left, you still need to hold the power button in. And it is much heavier. The thing I'm most disappointed with is the dust bin. Woeful design. If you have long hair I wouldn't bother with this vacuum, as the hair (and flint too) gets trapped under the red rubber seal and between the black rubber seal and you can't get it out without pushing the bin back in slightly and manoeuvring your hand/fingers in to and pull it out. And that filter is very hard to clean without again contorting your hand in the dust bin.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great vacuum. This vacuum is amazing. The power is great, and the battery seems to last a decent amount of time. easy to use and empty/clean. The one thing I do not like, or I guess understand are the 3 power settings. Ecco, Normal, and Boost. when you turn the unit one it defaults to normal and can be cycled to Ecco then back to normal then to boost. Maybe it is just me, but I have never thought to myself before vacuuming that I do not want my floors to be too clean. I guess if I'm going through the effort to vacuum my floors I want to vacuum up as much dirt and dust as possible. not just a little bit cleaner. so, this means each time I vacuum I have to cycle the button 3 times every time. but this is not a big deal and who knows maybe one day I will want to vacuum my house but not have it clean.

The suction power is simply incredible, effortlessly picking up dirt and debris from both carpets and hard floors. I’m particularly impressed by the intelligent cleaning modes, which automatically adjust the suction based on the surface. It’s a huge convenience that makes vacuuming a breeze. The battery life is also impressive, lasting long enough to clean my entire home in one go. The V11 is lightweight and easy to maneuver, making vacuuming a much less daunting task. In short, this vacuum is an absolute must-have – highly recommended!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from A pain to use: unwieldy and heavy Buyer beware: this vacuum is heavy, bulky, and unwieldy. Frankly, it’s a pain to use and I hate it. Bought it when battery of my great V8 died from a combination of cat fur and desert dust. Figured that a newer and bigger model must be better, right? Perhaps it is. It certainly has more bells and whistles. But it’s so heavy and unwieldy to maneuver that I’m not using it at all, so what’s the point? I should’ve returned it after the first try, but it was so difficult to unpack that the thought of packing it all back up and returning it just was too much. Be very sure you want to lift and push this machine around if you purchase it. I should’ve stuck with my V8.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this vacuum cleaner. I had a Dyson years ago but when it broke everyone persuaded me that they were too expensive to buy another. How wrong were they! I’ve put up with barely clean carpets since then until I bought this one a month ago. First go round the house and I was emptying the canister numerous times. Now it feels like there’s a point to vacuuming again. Carpets and rugs look and feel clean and it’s a doddle to use. Don’t need to wear my noise cancelling headphones to use it and I’m not going over and over the same bit of floor to no effect. Light enough to be able to clean up the cobwebs on the ceiling of my stairs. An all round winner 🏆
