Rated 5 out of 5 by from LIFECHANGING I recently got this and it has literally changed my life and I don’t think I’ve ever had my house this clean before! Absolutely impressed with the technology behind it, it mops and vacuums and has extendable brushes (both for vacuum and mop) to ensure all the corners and sides of the house is clean. I’m thoroughly impressed with its AI tech as well with how it’s able to detect obstacles and be able to move over lamps and cords without any major issues! The ALL in one station is also very compact and fits nicely in the corner of our house. It does absolutely everything for us, emptied the vacuum and cleans/dried the mop with hot air. Highly recommend if you want something to save time!!!

The laser mapping scanned my apartment in <10 minutes (way faster than my old robot). Love controlling it through the app while I'm out - come home to spotless floors every time! Mopping leaves minimal water trails on my tiles. Still do occasional edge cleaning myself, but 90% less floor work now. Perfect for pet hair too!

It's got serious suction power that tackles dust and hair like a pro, even cleaning those hard-to-reach corners with ease. Rated 1 out of 5 by from WORST PURCHASE EVER Worst purchase ever. We had an older model that just vacuumed and was excited to upgrade to the vac and mop version. We have endured it for 4 months getting stuck everywhere throughout the home for no reason, it wandering around the house not vacuuming or mopping, not being able to find its doc, and now the map has disappeared from my phone , have deleted the app and reinstalled have tried everything just to be told my 4 year old Iphone needs to be downgraded for it to work. What a joke! I will be returning this and I’m sure I will have to fight for months to get a refund. DO NOT BUY THIS MACHINE

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very happy customers We have an open plan single story 4 bedroom house with about half tiled / hybrid floorboards and a few carpet squares. We have a dog that is mainly indoors in winter and we have found the vac/mop works really well on the hard floors and carpet squares. I had 3 attempts to map our floor plan and had success when I followed online advice to place the dock in a central position. Once you break up the floor plan into logical areas, it becomes very simple to set off the vac/mop to work. We are very happy with the performance of the app and the machine.

Enter the Ecovacs Deebot X8 Pro Omni… and honestly, I don’t know how I survived without it! First off, the suction power is insane. Husky hair isn’t just fluffy; it somehow embeds itself into every corner and crevice. The X8 Pro sweeps through and picks up everything — fur, dirt, and whatever else these fluff balls drag in from outside. What really sealed the deal for me is the self-cleaning feature. I used to dread emptying the vacuum constantly, but now the Omni station takes care of that. Plus, it washes the mop pads, which means no more chasing muddy paw prints across the floor. Another huge win is the smart navigation. My huskies love sprawling out in random spots, and the X8 Pro effortlessly works around them — toys, water bowls, and all. It’s also not super loud, which surprised me. It’s got some noise (like any vacuum), but nothing that bothers the dogs. They barely lift their heads when it passes by. If you’ve got huskies (or any shedding machines), this vacuum is a total game-changer. My house feels cleaner, my stress levels are lower, and my huskies can keep living their best (hairy) lives without me losing my mind. Couldn’t recommend it more! 🌟

Floors always clean when we get home and so easy to set up. Been putting off buying one for the last couple of years, but now we’ve got this one, it’s worth every penny. The Ecovacs app is intuitive and setting up exclusion zones, scenario cleans and cleaning schedules is so simple. Being able to buy consumables and accessories through the app was a pleasant surprise feature also.

Can it go over a loop pile carpet?

Thanks for your question Reece. It can handle loop pile carpets, but it might struggle a bit with high loop pile carpets. It's designed to raise its roller mop by 10 mm to avoid wetting short-pile carpets. If you have a high pile carpet, it may not be suitable. ^CO

Is the mopping function suitable for hardwood floors? Steam and excessive water use have not recommended on our floors as it could damage it water could seep through the floorboards.
