Cat hair (Maine Coon) was suctioned and compressed by the manual compression function repeatedly until it reached the receptacle capacity. Compression efficiency "2.4x" was calculated by comparing the weight of compressed cat hair with the weight of non-compressed cat hair (both with the same volume). Rated 3 out of 5 by from Too powerful? The build quality is nice, the tower and the vacuum feel really well made and it certainly does vacuum...maybe too much. As any normal person would, I put it on power mode and it sucked the whole top layer of my carpet off. And there's still another level of power above that! So I put it on normal, and it did the same thing. Even on perfectly clean carpet, less than 1 minute in and I have to empty the entire tank of carpet coloured fluff. I'm really torn in how I feel about this vacuum, it's comically powerful and has reeeeally terrible battery life, but is otherwise a great machine.
