Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Pet Hair Removal [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have now been using the Shark Ultra Cyclone Pet Pro hand held vacuum and it has been an excellent addition the my household cleaning appliances. My normal Vacuum does a great job however struggled with all the dog hair in the house. That is where this little Vacuum shines ! It does an excellent job at picking up all the short dog hair not only on the carpet but also on the lounge and bed. Easy to use and charges quickly which is great when using before having guest of family over, it also has a perfect amount of charge enough to last long enough to vacuum all the important places around the house.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Shark Ultra Cyclone Pet Pro hand held vacuum does an excellent job removing dog and cat hair from furniture and carpet. My dogs hair is thick and bristly making it hard to remove but the pet power brush was able to remove the majority after a few quick runs over the couch. Switching to the crevice tool allowed me to give the couch a thorough clean between cushions. The vacuum itself is lightweight and easy to use. An excellent alternative to plugging in my full size vacuum every time I spot a cluster of pet hair! The CleanTouch dirt ejector was simple to navigate, though it was a tad disturbing how much dirt and hair it had removed from my couch!

Living in a small unit, it is so convenient to use a few times a day for spot cleaning, instead of having to bring out the big vacuum cleaner. The suction is powerful and the attachment for getting rid of dog and car hairs works well. My husband and I really like this little machine and find we use this most of the time now. It is particularly good to clean up sand off the floor.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Completely impractical for vacuuming hair Would be fantastic but has a huge fatal flaw, and I don't understand how others are looking past it. You can't open the brush head to clean it and/or remove hair from the roller. I have never in my life seen a vacuum that doesn't let you take out the roller brush. Hair gets stuck in it. This is a PET vacuum! It's meant to suck up hair?! Why can't we open the brush head to take the hair out of the roller? Insanity and completely unpractical. I have lost hours going in with a knife to try and cut hair off the roller so the vacuum continues to be usable. Absolutely insane that this was even made.

Battery life wasn't huge, after about 30 minutes it was winding down but great for small job, shelves and most of all getting into the nooks and crannies of the couch to get all the pet hair!

Attachments click on and off with ease. Holds it's charge even when left unplugged. Excellent power and suction, without being unbearably loud. User friendly, one touch bin empty (dirt slides right out the Shute!). The option to add a stick attachment for the floor will make it an all-in-one.

We have tried numerous possible solutions and found that the Shark Vacuum is the only solution to the problem. After using it there was no indication of any fur left on the lounge.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nothing special This is bascically a Dustbuster with a fur/hair rotating brush attachment. It works as it should but it’s very hyped up for what it is. Don’t expect anything innovative or especially special about this appliance. Still the shark brand is what swayed me into purchasing as it has a fairly good reputation for quality and life of product so I’m relying on that fact to make the purchase of this one more valid. I’ve had it a month now and so far so good. Does feel a bit heavy and bulky for what the technology these days has to offer in regards to portability. But super simple and easy to use, no need to even read instructions. One button on/off that’s it. Overall only slightly disappointed at the fact it’s made out to be some super hand held magic vac for fur when any old Dustbuster with a rotating head attachment can do the exact same thing. Lucky it was on sale or I would probably have regretted the purchase.
