Rated 2 out of 5 by from Freeview Steaming TV app for this is unstable Usually takes several attempts to get freeview streaming app to keep running when turning on. Once it settles itself down it mostly performs ok however it stops every few hours and reverts back to the home screen. Interface response to the remote control is sometimes very slow.

Does it work with Apple as well or is there a special one for Apple?

Thanks for your question Leigh. This is designed for Android operations and does not have access to Apple TV. Apple have their own proprietary TV unit and App, however, this does have access to the Google Play store, where other apps are available. Hope this helps! ^CO

Is there a reason why my new Dish TV Smartvu model no SV11HD wont accept my wifi password to connect service?

Thanks for your question. DishTV advise WiFi keys are case sensitive and you may need to ensure upper and lower case is used accordingly. It can also happen if the WiFi signal strength is too weak, or if the modem/router is too close to the SmartVU device. If you continue experiencing issues, please return the product to store and the team can take a look. ^CO
