Rated 5 out of 5 by from Huge Upgrade at a Reasonable Price Bottom line: highly recommend this router for anyone looking for an easy, inexpensive upgrade. My last Netgear router lasted 8 years, but I recently had to upgrade when Netgear notified me that my old router was no longer being supported. I have had this router for about a week, and so far, everything has been great! It has significantly increased my WiFi speeds, and I love how much control there is in the app. It is great to have easy control over the WiFi name and password, and see in real time all the devices that are actively connected to the WiFi. It is reassuring knowing that you can keep your network more secure via the app.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from happy with purchase my old net gear was going out of stock so to me thats totally un safe, Net Gear sent an email about it, with a coupon 20 percent off i went onto the web site and chose this one nighthawk, super happy with it and it was less money for more square feet, thats a win had somewhat of a hard time so i called the number they give you and tech walked me through it, after a few days, i noticed my printer wasnt working, did not recognize my ip address, had a really hard time, i called them waited on hold for 10 minutes and was disconnected which peed me off, i then called my printer manufacture got it fixed....so check your printers before you hang up

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fast and secure I purchased this router in the hope that it would improve the performance of my wireless VR headset. It has certainly met my expectations. I live in a small rural town, and my internet provider just upgraded my service. The RS100 allows me to take full advantage of my 1.2 Gbps internet speed, it easily covers my 1300sq ft condo, and the Wi-Fi 7 capability provides a fast and secure connection with my VR headset. Oh, and I’m a fan of the Armor network security. Bottom line, really good performance at a very reasonable price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from NETGEAR RS100 so far the size is smaller which is space saving, but the speed and functionality is about the same for my previous Netgear router. However, the price is much more. Hope, Netgear can give more promo discount for returning customers.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Won’t stay connected [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Router works with tv and iPhone but will only stay connected to laptop for 5 minutes or less. Have replaced all cables and wires. Must restart install sequence to get router recognized even then will only stay connected for 5 minutes at a time. Speed is excellent but of no use if can’t stay connected.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nighthawk RS100 Great little perfomer I have one TV for streaming and a laptop that I use occasionally while watching TV. I use the laptop to browse or look up information presented on TV and check financials. I live in a 900 sq. ft. house and the Nighthawk RS100 works flawlessly. It is twice as fast as my previous router which was eight years old. I updated to the Nighthawk RS100 for better Wi-Fi protection protocols. Wi-Fi protection was the main reason but the rest makes the Nighthawk RS100’s attributes make it a great buy for me. Netgear has a great array of routers but the Nighthawk RS100 has all the attributes necessary for my situation.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Router great, setup difficult Router is good value, and its wifi has good range. Unfortunately, initial setup is very difficult. Smartphone app does not work well, and PC access for setup via ethernet did not work well, either. After experimenting with app for about an hour, finally was able to enter my choice of SSID and passwords. Having done that, I have a router that I am very happy with--excellent wifi and data speed. Another user recommended calling Netgear tech support for setup advice at the beginning. Probably would have been the best course of action.
