[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love that you can connect it with a Party Box speaker or use the mic feature with the ambient music to sync the light. When connected to a Party Box you can change the light settings from either the speaker or the light. It has many great color options and I like that I can customize the colors to fit the party vibe. After using it a few times it seems to work best hooked up to the party box and/or with louder speakers than just a phone. Overall, it adds to the ambience of any party!!

It displays a nice pallete of night shade colors on walls and ceilings; helping to bring the party energy to your own personal living space, or just about anywhere else you please. It’s very portable and easily fits in a backpack or tote. My only critique is that it feels more like a spot light than a “beam” as indicated in the product title. As long as you are not expecting a laser light show, you will be more than happy with its performance.

The party light beam has turned out to be perfect for our parties - the way the lights dance with the rhythm totally transforms the vibe, turning our back garden or living room into a mini club disco. It really injects energy into garden parties, while making colder months indoors feel fun and exciting. I really like that it appeals to everyone - the kids are really mesmerised by it, and the adults - myself included - enjoy it just as much, which makes the whole experience much more fun. Our family are friends are looking to get the beam which speaks volumes.

Aptly named, it adds a certain ambience to an event with little effort in regards to setup. The lighting effect is bright as well as colorful. The colours are punchy, the motion feels alive, and it responds to music in a jittery way that should make an otherwise quiet night feel like something is happening. Furniture may take up to 8 weeks to deliver as most products are made specifically for your order. Will this connect to a Party Box 310?

Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, our PartyBox 310 does not support the Auracast feature, which is necessary for connecting to the JBL PartyLight Beam. However, it is compatible with older PartyBox speakers. The built-in sound detection algorithm syncs the lights with the music from the speaker.

Thank you for your Inquiry. Our JBL PartyLight Beam is designed to wirelessly sync specifically with JBL PartyBox speakers to create a synchronized light show. You can control the PartyLight Beam's settings, including light shows, speed, colors, and patterns, via the JBL ONE app or PartyBox app.

Our JBL PartyLight Beam and PartyLight Stick feature Auracast technology, enabling multiple compatible units to connect and create expansive, synchronized group lightshows. You can effortlessly link and control multiple Beams and Sticks using the JBL ONE app or JBL PartyBox app — once connected, the lighting effects will automatically sync to your music. For optimal performance, we recommend keeping all devices within 30 feet (10 meters) of your controlling device to ensure stable connectivity and seamless synchronization.
