Very happy with this purchase
Love these cameras. I added this one to two existing ones that we have and the picture quality is amazing. Connection is always great, even on mobile data and the battery lasts ages between charges. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Eufy outdoor cam
It delivers everything that I needed - wire free, big battery, solar charging and WiFi. The cameras are a doddle to install and the app is mostly easy to use - there are LOTS of menus and it's easy to forget where you saw the setting you're interested in. The whole system uses AI to detect people, so no false alarms. Easy installation.

No regrets.
Just added this eufyCam 3 to my setup and I'm impressed. The 4K video is crisp - way better than my old cameras. Love that there's no subscription needed. The AI detection works pretty well, cutting down on false alerts. A bit pricey, but worth it for the peace of mind.

Self charged.
These camera's are quite good. I like the solar panel on top, for the units that I have in direct sun, they are fully charged each day. It's great. I have a few that are not in good sun area and I run them with a solar panel to top up, that's working ok for me so far.

the solar panel keep the battery charged, for peace of mind. The Eufy system is easy to setup and use. with great quality images. battery life on the non solar cameras is less than advertised but that is due to the extra activation where i have mine located

Image quality is excellent, with true 4K resolution delivering sharp detail during both day and night, making it easier to identify faces and read fine details compared to 2K systems. Night vision performance is particularly impressive, with clear colour footage when ambient light is available.

Faulty new product no replacement allowed.
One of units supplied was faulty. Harvey Norman staff member insisted it could only be repaired not replaced even though it had never had the functionality of the other cameras when supplied. I didnt intend to buy a new product that would need immediate repair. Will go to a different supplier for future.

The title says it's a "Wireless Smart Security Add On Camera". Does that mean I need to have purchased a security camera already? Or can I use it as is with the app. on my phone and the two cameras?
Thanks for your question Anne. It can’t connect directly to a phone or the app on its own. If you already have an existing HomeBase 3 setup with cameras, you can simply add this one to the system through the paired app. If not, you’ll need to get the HomeBase 3 first. Hope this helps! ^CO
