Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice addition to the Ring family [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very easy to set up and use battery-powered security camera. No additional SD card is required like other cams. Set up is as easy as downloading an app and scanning a QR code. Battery life is great and the quality is good. You can mount ot to a surface, or keep it portable. Motion detection works great. It integrates well with all the Ring products and Neighbors App. The camera wants to be associated with an address and really empasizes how it should be used as part of an integrated network, which is great if home protection and neighborhood saftey are you number one concerns.

I will be getting the floodlight and doorbell next. It got was tested first indoors, charge battery and placed on shelf. Used it to watch the dogs while at work. It gave me piece of mind to be able to see they were ok. It was then hung up outside garage. Took approximately 5 minutes to mount it, 2 screws, thats it! The app alerted me that someone was near my car. With the hit one one button, asked if I could help and they left. I believe it already saved me from a break-in! Love it, the motion lights are what I want for Christmas!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's what I'm looking for [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Since I have a Ring doorbell, I thought I don't need more front camera because the Ring doorbell works perfectly and over my expectation. However, it still have some limitations that the Ring stick up camera can cover. Actually, when I combine them, I feel I have extra layer of protection in my house. About the camera, honestly it is very easy to set up. Can place it on the flat surface or in the wall. It comes with the toolkit, so just simply follow the instructions in there. The image quality is high, even in the night time zone. I can easily watch out what going on through the app on my phone.

I already had the Ring doorbell so this camera just syncs to the same app. I can pull both devices up using the app. I love that i can pull up live feeds as well as get notifications when there’s movement. I placed it over our garage so we have a perfect view of our driveway. With the camera added to our Ring collection, we can now keep tabs on the entire front area of the house. And, because it recharges with a USB port, I could place it wherever I wanted to without having to worry about cords or hooking it to an electric source.

It is very simple to set up & operate, and I was pleasantly surprised to find out what a great range it covered. I have a large area out front, and was very happy to see that I could see the whole driveway showing in the camera, when I thought it would only cover a small area. I love the walky talky type features, and how simple and easy it is to review images on the camera at a later time. Picks up motion, which is great so you don't have hours and hours of useless recordings. I would indeed recommend this camera to anyone trying to protect their home.

My horse had some medical issues and needed a close eye kept on her, we already have Ring cameras at the house so chose to get one for the barn too. We don’t have electric in the barn so this battery powered Ring was our best bet. I have it connected to hotspot which gives it enough connection to do live view. It’s been very helpful. The battery does die quickly, BUT I was checking the live feed every 15 minutes. Now that I’m checking it less, the battery is lasting much longer. Night vision is great, as mentioned we don’t have lights in the barn. The screenshot is taken at night.

There have been a lot of break-ins recently in our neighborhood so I wanted to be cautious. The camera is super easy to set up with the app on your phone. It was very easy to mount near my garage door. The battery claims to last months but I have only had it for a few weeks and so far so good. You do have to pay a small monthly fee to store video in the cloud but it is very reasonable. The resolution is great day or night. If you are looking for a great indoor/outdoor camera that is very easy to install and works very well, I highly recommend this product.

I have been looking for an alternate system which is easier to use and can be used inside and out. I ordered the Ring Stick-up and have been very pleased with this unit. I'm still learning everything it can do, however the set-up was extremely easy and the on-line tutorial is comprehensive. I've used this unit in two different locations so far, and I'm seriously considering using Ring for my security system due to how easy it is to use and the multiple functions it offers. The Stick-Up Cam Battery unit makes it very versatile for use in any location!
