This one is great to have because virtually all house spotlights with or without a camera are hardwired. This one is battery operated so it opens up so many more options on where you can use it. It's great that you can just change out the battery pack with another charged up one instead of having to take the whole camera down to recharge or putting Alkaline batteries in it. The video quality and spotlight options are great like any Ring cam but the portability is the selling point for me.

It is great to see who is coming towards the house and if I should or shouldn’t go answer the door. Sometimes it seems a bit too sensitive, but I’d rather have that than it missing things. Easy to instal and very easy to use. I think we will be getting one more for the side of the house that is close to the street and one that we could put inside and cover the living room plus outside of the window to our backyard. I would never believe it, but having a camera has really put my mind at easy. Recommended!

I tried out the alarm function and sent my cat running, should also work for someone up to no good if I ever need it. Clear view of what I needed, the darkest part of our driveway near the house. Dark no more and I can see it from my phone. Very pleased. This plugs in but you can use a rechargeable battery too. It was heavier than I expected but I was able to get it installed myself and it's not coming down unless we take it down.

As soon as I turned it on, I easily connected it to my wifi via the app. The app is great because you can have a ton of cameras all linked to the app. The video is excellent quality even with zoom. You can clearly make out little details. The alarm feature is also pretty loud. You can speak on it to whoever is outside the house and it is easily heard. Charging was easy and one charge lasts about 30 days.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A must! Expensive..yes! Worth it…absolutely! I have had my fair share of security cameras around my house but the Ring Spotlight Cam is the best one thus far. The video quality is very clear and the sound has no static. You can hear everything perfect. It is very easy to set up and the app is very user friendly. I receive a notification that there is motion, a vehicle driving by or that someone is at my front door immediately. I definitely recommend purchasing an extra battery or two because if you’re anything like me, you’re going to forget to charge it.

The video quality is super clear day or night, and the spot light adds a layer of security. Motion alerts are fast and customizable, and the two way audio is super handy. Setup was easy and the app is user friendly. Having access to all my cameras in one app makes keeping up with the house while we are gone easier. Only downside is needing a subscription for the video history, but overall it’s reliable and worth it!

After a lot of research, this spotlight cam from Ring seemed to be the best one for us. Installation was fairly quick and we have been impressed with the quality of the pictures we have seen. Plus, the motion light seems to scare off the random critters that wander through the yard and the rechargeable batteries are a huge bonus! All in all, this is a quality camera that we would definitely purchase again!
