Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent performance and innovative technology! I bought the Dyson Airstrait a few weeks ago and I am honestly impressed. The design is sleek and premium, and the technology behind it really works. It dries and straightens my hair at the same time without excessive heat, which makes a huge difference for hair health. The performance is excellent — my hair is smooth, shiny and looks professionally styled in much less time. Very easy to use, highly functional, and surprisingly versatile for different hair types. Expensive, but absolutely worth it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Difficult to master I've been wanting this for ages to save time by drying and straightening my hair at the same time and less heat damage. It's quite hard to use to get a sleek finish without fly aways on my medium length hair and I can't do it without my hair flicking out. You have to be quite skilled to get your hair styled right with this and I am not skilled. It would be good on really thick and long hair but not for you average hair like mine. Really disappointed as it's a huge cost for a hair product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from sadly this is not as advertised took me an hour to dry my thick wavy hair in tiny sections. to blowdry roots was not very powerful then had to pass over each piece around 6 times to dry and still didn’t feel fully dry. also cannot do a bouncy blowdry as pictured - if you try to curl end pieces air blows wrong way and mats it. i really wanted to love this but was disappointed so am awaiting my refund

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Salon level styling at home! I was lucky to get the Dyson Airstraight dryer and straightener for Christmas. I have fine flyaway frizzy hair just above shoulder length and its always been difficult to achieve a polished straight result. With the new technology and great tutorials on the Dyson App I was able to achieve salon level hair straightening almost from first use. I love being able to style my hair from wet. It's taken a little practice to section my hair for styling but I'm getting better. It's reassuring that the appliance is a good weight but I'd love to see a future model a little lighter. I'm wondering how I will manage when away on business trips or holidays, given the weight and size. A travel sized appliance would be fantastic if the Dyson team can develop this for future.

I have always struggled on wash day as I have thick, curly hair I always found it to be a chore to blow dry then straighten my hair - sometimes it would take me 2 hours! Now I look forward to wash day and doing my hair as the Dyson only takes me 30mins to get my hair from wet to straight. I haven’t picked up my hair straightener or hair dryer since purchasing the airstrait, I would highly recommend it!!

I know it sounds dramatic but as a girl with extremely thick hair I’ve spent many years either going to bed with wet hair or spending a good hour an and a half drying and straightening my hair ! This Christmas my boys bought me the Dyson air straight and It might be the best gift I’ve ever received!!! Today I timed myself , 13 minutes- that’s all it took to get dry , straight hair 13 MINUTES Whoever designed this product needs a raise its my new favourite gadget and I’m not sure now I’ve had it I’ll ever be able to live without it

Both love that it drys and straightens hair in one go saving time and effort. My son thinks it’s great as he was never one for straighteners. We were worried initially by the size but after using it w found it to be easily manageable and responsive.
