[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been putting the new Samsung S26 Ultra through its paces, and honestly, this thing is a beast! After using the 512GB model, I can definitely say it’s the way to go—you never have to worry about running out of space for high-res photos or videos.
The only real "con" for me is the back side. The camera lenses are so prominent that the phone never actually sits flat on a table. It has a bit of a wobble if you don't have a case on it because those lenses really stick out! It’s a trade-off for having such a high-end camera, but it's something to keep in mind if you like a flush design.

Sleek, modern design with excellent performance
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having moved from an S22 Ultra, the design language of this phone is similar but evolved. More comfortable in the hand, and the flat screen is much nicer to use with an S-pen. The new privacy screen feature is very cool tech, and while I am not particularly worried about hiding my display, I'm happy to keep passwords/PINs protected in this extra fashion.
The cameras perform great from my limited usage at this point, and I've enjoyed the snappy and responsive interface - the OS seems to work well with the processor. Would highly recommend for anyone searching for a functional and premium phone.

Shot some epic fireworks with S26 Ultra
I am one of the lucky ones to have my hands on the S26 Ultra. I took it to the lantern festival and took a lot of epic photos of the lights and fireworks. what really surprised me was I found out i took the exact same photo with my daughter who is on A33 - both photos are great but then i realized hers only got the fireworks in terms of brightness (we both just point and shoot) but mine, the S26 Ultra actually captured all the color variations that the human eye saw. The hint of purple, red and orange, the sparks, smoke - those are all there whereas my daughter's photo was just a bright yellowish sparkle.

Reliable Android Flagship as Always
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, it feels very similar to the S23 Ultra that I previously used. The phone is still a bit bulky, with a large display and essentially the same system experience. I haven’t fully tested the camera yet, but from what I’ve seen so far, it looks quite good.
One of the new privacy features designed to prevent others from viewing your screen from the side feels a bit unnecessary for me. It actually makes it harder when I quickly glance at the phone from an angle while working to check notifications or messages.
I also helped a friend buy one in the pink gold color, and he was very happy with it.

So in love...

As a heavy phone user, I’ve been really impressed with how fast and seamless everything runs. Apps open instantly and switching between tasks feels effortless.
The camera and graphics are amazing as always, and the AI features make everyday tasks feel smoother and easier. The photo editing tools are also fantastic and make it so simple to enhance pictures on the go.

First Impressions: Loving This Phone Already 😄
Just got the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra a couple of days ago and so far I’m really happy with it.
The screen is the first thing I noticed. It’s super bright and smooth, and everything just looks great on it. Even simple things like scrolling through apps or watching YouTube feel really nice 📱✨.
Battery life also seems solid so far 🔋. With normal daily use like messages, social media, and some videos, I didn’t feel like I had to worry about charging all the time.
Another thing I like is how smooth the system feels. Apps open quickly, switching between things is easy, and everything just feels fast.
Overall it just feels like a really polished phone. Only used it for a short time, but so far I’m enjoying it a lot 👍.

The AI features are genuinely useful, and the camera is noticeably improved — especially the clarity and stability at 100× zoom. It also feels lighter in the hand and the curved edges make it more comfortable to hold. The only downside I’ve noticed is the built-in privacy display mode, which can make the screen look slightly discoloured and a bit pixelated when it’s enabled. The battery life seems much the same and haven't noticed any difference to performance but overall a solid phone.

Loving all the new features
1 thing I am extremely excited about (not just the Privacy Screen, even though that is amazing) is the AI photo editor (never experienced using AI, however it is so easy to use) my wife has been receiving edited photos with some incredible changes which have been fun and entertaining
Also the cameras and quality of photos is mind blowing 🤯

Very adaptive which has been amazing. As someone who uses their phone alot for both a job and in home life this phone has not disappointed! The new privacy functions has been amazing as i travel alot on the train and having sensitive information safer without having to get a privacy screen protector has been a hugely impactful function for me.
The battery lasts me all day and noticeably longer than the s25 did for me. Very impressed overall as a day to day user.

It's so light. The camera is the best. I'm going to learn how to use the camera features to maximise the experience.

Specifically on the physical design aspect though, the protruding camera at the back means that if you pop it on the table, it'll never be stable or flat (even with most cases).
The protruding camera also means that if you use MagSafe items (like a power bank that isn't made by Samsung at the moment), it'll clash with the camera and it won't fit.
A first world problem but also just a design aspect that seemed to have worked on the S23 Ultra!

Like Samsung, step up your game like you used to be years ago. Stop being lazy and make god worthy upgrades. I’ve been using the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra for a bit and honestly I really like it.
The design feels very premium. The phone looks clean and modern, and the big screen is great for watching videos or just browsing. It’s a large phone, but it still feels comfortable to hold.
The camera is probably my favorite part. Photos come out really sharp with a lot of detail, and the zoom is impressive. Even at night the pictures look bright and clear without much effort.

The screens colours do not pop like on the S25 Ultra though to me it appears to be better calibrated to represent real colour tones. The new processor definitely speeds up the phone across all functions whether its in apps or website usage. The Ai is best in class, no competition. The slimmer and lighter body feels great in the hand. The new clear hard case is also improved strangely softer on touch and less of a finger print magnet. For those on S25U the new processor is worth the upgrade.

It is not a major upgrade, but offers some good improvements such as the design, battery life and privacy screen. In my opinion, the AI features are average, but that is probably because I do not use it everyday. I can see someone who is interested in it, finding it being very useful.
Samsung has made transferring data across phones very simple and I am still learning new things about the phone. Overall, it is a nice phone, but the features are not as stand out as previous releases.

Transfer was as simple as it could be, took about 30mins and it mirrored my old phone, not that the S23 was slow but this is notably smoother and faster... so far perfection.
I do alot of action sport filming and was surprised to see improved resolution and the stability feature is next level. I can zoom right in to get all the detail and goodness of the action and its like its on a tripod.. unexpected mastery...
