Rated 5 out of 5 by from BIG Sound Soundbar [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this soundbar alone with the Samsung QN75QN800 8k tv for a upgrade of a rack 7.2 channel system that took up a lot of space. The sound from the soundbar is louder at high volume and at low volume it is easier to hear which was a problem with the rack Onkyo system. Don't get me wrong, the Onkyo system is great for action movies but was hard to hear in a normal listening mode like for news or a documentary show unless to turn the volume up. Im glade I made the switch..love the soundbar 110% and recommend it to anyone who is looking for a top notch soundbar, Samsung is the best.

Atmos content is immersive, the redesigned subwoofer sounds much more refined, and pairing this setup with my NeoQLED for Q Symphony makes this a knock out of the park. However, the appearance of the soundbar leave a bit to be desired. Despite the advertisements showing the Q990F more black, you can clearly tell that everything is more of a graphite/Grey once you have it up, making my setup look mismatched visually. Also, the front of the soundbar has some warping in the plastic, which really is unacceptable at the price point of this system.

Especially with it being pared with our Samsung 77inch S97F OLED TV , the sound bar pared with the woofer and 2 additional speakers we have mounted behind us literally makes you feel like your right there in the action. Now I do have to admit im a samsung fan boy, but at the end of the day they make incredibly amazing products and im blessed 🙌 to be able to own everything flagship they have to offer 🙏. So if your in the market for a great soundbar, subwoofer, and 2 mid range speakers and have the money I would totally do it.

It went together easily. I also bought speaker stands for the rear speakers. Getting the settings right to make it all work was a little troublesome. I had to contact support for help. It was an easy adjustment. My bad. The bass sound from the subwoofer is like, wow. Crystal clear sounds when you get the settings correct. Easy connections, once I had the secret from support. The sound, especially with action movies, is fantastic. You feel like the sound is hugging you from all angles.

I chose Samsung again because my TV is the same brand so I knew it would connect. And omg this is so much of a step up. It was so easy to set up, the speakers and woofer automatically synced to the bar, no problems. And the sound is amazing. I’ve never had rear speakers before so I’m not used to surround sound, so the decision to watch the new Alien series as the first thing with these new speakers? That was a mistake. The alien noises come from behind me now, in the best possible way. 100% recommend 👍

Dialogue is super clear, the bass has that nice, boomy punch without being muddy, and the surround sound really pulls you into what you’re watching. I also like that I can tweak and tinker everything in the SmartThings app instead of digging through TV menus—it makes it easy to get the sound just the way I want it. Paired with my Samsung TV, unlocking Q-Symphony has been a pleasant surprise. It really opens up the soundstage and enhances the overall listening experience without relying on artificial processing—though that option is there if you prefer it.

Smart things app: Picked up new items immediately after signing into app and standing near the speakers. Can manage all speakers through it very easily and it integrates with Alexa and Google home systems if you like. The surround sound works very well. The subwoofer adds fantastic bass and the soundbar has great quality and sounds great for music and movies. Throws the sound really well with Dolby Atmos. The rear speakers are fantastic for movies. The cables fit very neatly into inbuilt sections in the bottom of the speakers and the remote control looks very smart.

The soundbar with its wireless speakers and newly redesigned subwoofer fills the room with clear, deep sound, and wireless Dolby Atmos brings movie theater magic right at home without any messy cables. It’s surprisingly easy to control with Alexa and the SmartThings mobile app, plus AirPlay and Google Cast makes it super simple to stream music to the speakers as well. Now, every movie night feels extra special and brings the whole family closer together!
