It's quite a surprise!
Got this to play Xbox games that have audio lag when going through the larger receiver. Solved that issue and works well as a sound source for gaming. Has surprising bass and groove! Find myself listening to cd's through it when I can't be bothered firing up the whole circus of main amp and cdc. It gets there. No it's not high end audio. No it's never going to replace the bigger setup. But it does the job. I'm surprised by how powerful it is and the overall sound quality is pretty darn good for a mini system. Speaker cable length is a bit of a strange one. It's a unique connection to the system and it's fixed to the speaker, meaning you're stuck with about a meter or so of cable for each speaker. Would be nice to be able to lengthen this but alas it's not to be.

Fantastic sound
Purchased yesterday for our games room. Connects easy to Bluetooth / Spotify etc. Really impressed with the sound & bass. Very clear and distortion free. I
Have also connected it to the TV with RCA cable. Super happy with it.

Terribile Sound Quality!!!
Was a prize at my local fishing competition, was happy to have won it but set it up and was the worst sounding stereo I have ever owned!! hollow sounding, to trebly and the bass was all over the place and it didn't matter what I did in the audio setting the sound never got any better!! as a teenagers first stereo am sure they would love it but at my age this thing is just junk compared to what I have owned, for the price people have to pay for it I would have expected better I am sorry to say.

From the first use wasn’t impressed
Most reviews are for good sound but mine sounds very poor
No matter what settings I use,not clear sound at all.
Speakers are also vulnerable to damage have no mesh covers

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this product on Saturday the 6th June 2026 & I am so happy with it, I have always loved Panasonic products & I am thrilled to be able to play my CD’s now as my old player isn’t working anymore. I also the connectivity with my Bluetooth.

Wicked Sound
I purchased online as there's no Harvey Norman in my town. For a budget priced stereo the SC-AKX320 is packed full of features usually only found on a more expensive system. Crystal clear sound and wicked bass that vibrates the entire house. The only complaint I have are the 1m speaker cables making it impossible to get proper separation and full stereo effect. While it is simple enough to cut and extend the cables I'm pretty sure this would void any future warranty claim

Amazing mini stereo , the bass will blow ur mind away i have two of these one in my sons room the other in my daughters room .
Both connected to the tv as well for surround sound ,no need for a sound bar when you have this playing.

will this system pair with headphones

The system will not pair with headphones as it requires software or an app to initiate Bluetooth™ connection, so this system can only be paired to receive signals, and not cast. It operates off 2.4GHz frequency with a Bluetooth™ range of up to 10m, impacted by other same frequency devices. Trust this helps!
