I have no wifi, no cable.
All I have is my Samsung phone on which I have unlimited data and watch movies etc.

Great question Susie! It's primarily designed for display, similar to a monitor, using the HDMI input to receive content, or using WiFi to receive casted content. It also has access to apps and streaming services such as Netflix, YouTube, Apple TV, and Prime video. Trust this helps! ^CO

I am moving across the country- what is the best way to disassemble and pack this? The base is really heavy and I am not sure if a regular tv box fits all the parts since those tv boxes are meant just for flat screen tv. Please advise.

The carton that the LG StanbyME 27" Rollable Smart Touch Screen with 3hr Battery, Model # 27ART10AKPL was sold in is designed to contain the unit and the stand with the necessary insulation packaging and the best way to pack the unit for transportation.
Removing the stand is the opposite of how you attached the stand to the unit when you unboxed it and you will need to hold the stand while loosening and removing the screws to prevent it from falling and causing product damage or injury.
Regrettably, we do not know of any boxes that are suitable for the stand other than the carton that the product was sold in so you may have to shop around for a box that will support the stand's weight...^Ivan.

When utilizing the touch screen, we recommend avoiding pressing too hard on it; instead, tap lightly on the desired time with your fingertips. Touching the screen while wearing gloves or with the tip of your fingers may cause the input to not register on the touch screen. Additionally, if the screen is moist or wet, the touch sensors may not work properly. Are there any wifi settings requirements for the AirPlay function of the LG tv? We tried to airplay from a macpro connected to a local wifi network, but it didn't work. We read online that LG only works with 2G bandwidth. Please advise

Hello.
What you read online about LG only working with a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network only applies to LG Appliances and LG Wi-Fi-Enabled Air Conditioners that have a Wireless LAN Module with a frequency range of 2412 - 2462 MHz, so they only support 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi networks.
That is not true for LG TVs.
The LG StanbyME 27" Rollable Smart Touch Screen with 3hr Battery, Model # 27ART10AKPL has a built-in Wi-Fi Certified 802.11ac module with a frequency range of 2,400 to 2,483.5 MHz, 5,150 to 5,725 MHz, and v, so it will work with 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz Wi-Fi networks.
Regardless of brand or manufacturer, AirPlay 2 requires a Wi-Fi connection. To connect to AirPlay 2, both the TV and the device you are using must be on the same 2.4 GHz or 5.0 GHz Wi-Fi network.
However, some AirPlay 2-enabled devices can establish an AirPlay connection using Bluetooth instead of Wi-Fi. When using AirPlay Mirroring, Wi-Fi is not required...^Ivan.
