LG OLED 65" C5
Upgrade from my 65" OLED C9. My 4th LG OLED going back to a much earlier curved screen and no regrets with my purchase of any one of them. With modern OLED TVs, the quality is so good the improvements become miniscule from yr to yr, but even so and as good as my 65" C9 is, this is noticeably better in picture clarity. Most noticeably on upscaling on normal TV viewing, but not limited to just test. Just an overall better picture. With the deals available now i would highly recommend this unit.

Outstanding TV, the best I have seen on the market
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have just purchased the OLED48C56LB tv to replace an old plasma tv and WOW! I wished we had done it ssoner. The colour balance and sound difference is tremendous. Watching programmes is soooo different, especially the nature programmes. Its like your there, whether in the jungle or swimming along a coral reef, the colours are outstanding. Combine that with the Dolby Atmos sound, its like being in the cinema in your own lounge. Plus its a "smart" tv with all the bells and whistles you would expect. I am so glad we purchased this tv. Well worth spending that bit more than the "cheaper" tv's.

The display was a tad murky at first and needed some tweaking with the picture settings to get it brighter. (Cinematic mode seems to work best.) We like the solid stand rather than spindly legs. The remote control needs some getting used to. We found it a bit finicky but other users may disagree. Compatibility between the tv and our Sky Q remote is not completely reliable. Sound from the internal speakers is ok, lacking in bass and certainly not cinematic but acceptable. It really cries out for a separate soundbar. Initial setup was reasonably easy.

Terrible interface
We just bought the TV. Physical installation wasn't bad. But the interface is extremely confusing. I never got the mobile app to work. With difficulty, I downloaded the app for Spectrum (our cable). It doesn't appear on the main screen and is hard to find. We don't use any of the apps on the main screen (Disney, HBO, etc.) We like to stream PBS (Passport) and found out that it is not available on LGs. That weird floating cursor won't go away. CC is hard to access. If we ever find a channel to watch, the picture is fine. All of my complaints are about how difficult it is to use. The AI seems useless. Why are there all those ads for movies or streaming services in the way?

Pros:
1. Display is very sharp and colors pop out.
2. Light weight and easy to install. So far loving it.
Cons:
1. Wall mount option Angie did not come thru' for me. Using the TV stand instead.
2. Volume goes up during ads. No mute button on Magic Remote - we have to bring down the volume to "0" for a mute.

Great product, poor website.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great product. Very pleased with unit itself. Set up simple enough but all on power up. Some form of detailed explanation of where to connect Sky box and other connections would have been nice. Thank heavens for the internet. Purchase was not smooth using L.G. website. I believe they were having tech. difficulties. Tried to join and enrol, it kept sending e.mail responses then informing me my address was not valid. Soundbar offer could not be accepted and kept crashing page. In the end i purchased the TV and left the offer. There was no other way to make the sale happen.

Brilliant TV, A Little Clunky With Devices
This is my fourth LG TV and as expected the picture quality out of the box was 5 stars, no adjustment needed.
After 5 mins of tweaking the sound was also 5 stars.
My only disappointment was that the use of external devices was a little clunkier than in previous models. Instead of accessing a tool bar on the bottom of the screen and selecting a DVD Player, or set top box, or USB Drive you now have to go the additional step of accessing the home screen.
You can access this directly via using the ThinQ app, however, I would prefer to be able to do this through my phone.
Overall a great TV that could be made even better with a minor tweak to remember that some people still use external devices connected to their TV
