Amazing
Impressed by the picture quality. The sound is also good. Easy to set up.
The only disappointment was absence of SONY PICTURES CORE. It should have come with purchase and it has been a nightmare to get access to it ( despite my XR80 model qualifying for it)
I cannot access it with "MY SONY" Australian account. Sony customer care is really sluggish for any help. They are asking to create a SONY PICTURES CORE account ( which seems to be not available in Australia)
It's a big disappointment that you spend big money and heavily advertised deal complimentary with the purchase is not accessible.

Good overall
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros: excellent colour, clarity, and the Sound is excellent (I don’t have a sound system) for a TV! The set up is pretty easy (by my son-in-law). Overall, pretty happy with my purchase.
Cons: 1. The handheld is too small, and buttons and writings on them are too small for old folks like me with poor eyesights, and too small for our arthritic fingers; Would be good to have buttons numbered 0 - 9 for choice of channels. Perhaps Sony would give an option for big or small handset?
2. Wish there is a printed manual showing us how to operate, changing channels, etc, instead of having to go on line and search.

Great Interface
Purchased dring a sale that made it very compelling as I've always loved the contrast of OLED and my last Sony (not 4K) was an excellent panel. Things I've noticed are,
1. Google TV interface is excellent and very snappy. Makes it a please to use.
2. The contrast is fabulous. I had to go into the settings for Professional to get the picture quality to my liking as the out of the box settings didnt grab me. I used the RTINGS review/settings to help zone in on the things I needed to change - love it now!
3. The eARC is great and the remote is simple and effective.
There's a lot to like here and the upgrade from the previous panel is awesome. Really thrilled with it!

Fantastic TV
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had this delivered three weeks ago. It was very easy to set up. The legs are versatile and the high level elevates the TV above my existing soundbar. The smart functions are easy to set up and work well. The picture is excellent for both streaming up to and including 4k. Upscaling other content works well. Although I use a soundbar, the audio from this TV is also superior to any flatscreen I have experienced. The bass is a little lacking but otherwise it would be acceptable to use the audio from this TV for everyday viewing. Very happy

OLED display 🔥
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've recently upgraded to a new Sony TV and couldn't be happier. Being a long-time fan of Sony’s technology, I’ve found this TV offers outstanding value for its price. The deep, inky blacks enhance darker scenes in movies and games, the fast boot-up times are impressive, and navigating through apps and settings is seamless.
I primarily purchased this TV to better support my PS5, and it’s been a game changer. The exceptional picture quality combined with the 120 Hz refresh rate option truly elevate the gaming experience. Choosing this TV was an easy decision, and with this level of satisfaction, I’ll definitely opt for another Sony TV in the future.

It's OK
This is my first Sony TV and must admit it's " OK" I am not blown away to be honest for the price. I find when there is dark scenes I am struggling to make out what's going on, I have tried changing picture setting (even using "Netflix" mode ) to no avail. I already have Samsung and LG TV so wanted to try something else running Google TV.

Good TV
I purchased this telivision to replace an older top of the line Sony TV, The new one has great colour range, contrast and brightness only after tweeking the settings. It does come with some draw backs and the bigest is no line audio output which had I know at the time would have been a deal breaker. Yes it does have a blue tooth function for headphones but I cannot conect it to my hifi with out line out and eARK dosent work for me. I also do not like how reflective the screen is.

Minor buzzing
I recently got the Sony 55-inch OLED TV, and I’m really impressed with the picture quality—it’s absolutely stunning. The colors are vibrant, and the blacks are super deep, making everything look incredibly lifelike. The smart features are easy to use, and the sound quality is pretty good too.
However, I noticed a buzzing noise that can be a bit distracting, especially during quieter scenes. It's not a dealbreaker for me since I mostly watch with the volume up, but it’s something to be aware of. Overall, I’m happy with the TV, but the buzzing is a minor downside.
