_Sony XR90 TV Review_
The Sony XR90 impresses with its exceptional 4K picture quality and HDR support. However, it can be overly bright, causing eye strain. Adjusting the backlight and enabling the light sensor helps.
Some content, like Indian movies, exhibits a flickering effect due to motion interpolation and refresh rate issues. Tweaking settings minimizes this.
Overall, the Sony XR90 is a great TV with minor quirks. With some fine-tuning, it shines.

Very good SonyHad mine for nearly a month, one of the first to be sold in Australia. I waited a while for the release of this model Bravia 9, but have not been disappointed. Amazing picture quality, contrast and depth with vey minimal glare and reflection, and excellent on any viewing angle. Great motion flow for sports viewing.
Sound quality is also excellent.
Easy set up out of the box (requires 2 ppl).

Amazing TVMy old TV broke just before XMAS, did loads of research and decided to get a LED TV instead of an OLED due to burn-in and lack of brightness concerns.
It was the right decision, this TV has amazing picture quality without the fear of any burn-in and is so bright it hurts my eyes (so had to turn down the brightness a fair bit for my room!). The colours are so vibrant and the picture is razer sharp. The size is perfect as I was afraid it was going to be too big, I think I could have even got the larger model!

Almost greatThe picture is very bright and clear, with deep blacks and accurate colours. However, I don’t like the way it handles glare from lights or windows. I bought the Bravia 9 because it was marketed as having advanced glare handling. Unfortunately it would be better if it had a simple gloss screen. At least with a gloss screen I would be able to adjust my viewing angle to avoid reflections, but the Bravia 9 spreads reflections horizontally across the whole screen. Therefore, even if you watch from an angle to avoid the direct reflection of a window, the light will create a band across the screen that is particularly obvious and annoying in dark scenes. Another slightly annoying feature is its lack of support for 3-D, which means I won’t be able to watch my 3-D movies. I expected better from such an expensive TV.

The 4K picture quality is breathtaking, with vibrant colours, deep blacks, and incredible clarity that makes every detail pop. Watching sport feels unbelievably smooth thanks to the motion handling, eliminating any blur and making fast-paced action look razor-sharp—whether it’s footy, cricket, or the F1, it’s like being right there. Movies are just as impressive, with cinema-quality visuals and Dolby Atmos sound creating an immersive experience that pulls you in. The Google TV interface is seamless, making streaming effortless, and the upscaling tech even makes older content look stunning. If you’re after a TV that delivers on all fronts, the Sony BRAVIA is unbeatable.

Switching OffI bought this before Christmas and am happy with the picture. Then it just paused and began switching itself off and resetting. I looked for ways to fix the issue or who I needed to talk to for the issues and the reviews stated that it is common issue and that little assistance will come from Sony. I also can't find the master switch on the TV to reset the machine. I expected so much more for what I paid for. Very disappointed.

Bravia 9I've had the Bravia for 3 weeks now and I'm very impressed by the colour, image quality and the ability to handle image brightness/darkness. It works well with daylight flooding the room and equally well at night. Overall an excellent image quality.
Sound quality from the TV speakers is good but the Sony Bravia 9 surround sound is exceptional and is handled extremely well for setup and sound depth by the TV. WiFi connection is simple.
The remote takes a little getting use too with 'various settings options' but not difficult to master. It's a higher piece of technology than a normal TV remote though.
The only glitch I've noticed is the TV has lost the channel on two occasions after returning from program/channel information and the sound sometimes has a lag of 5 seconds when returning to the channel.
Overall very happy and thoroughly enjoy watching this impressive image display.

Bravia 9 - 75”[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really happy with the product, super bright works for both casual day time and night time watches, very glad I chose this over the Lg oled as I noticed I watch more with a lot up environment than I do in a all dark setting l. The audio from the tv is super good. And the booking almost completely un-noticeable.
