Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Performer Have been using this TV for about 2 months. It’s a great size even sitting 3m away. Partner has adjusted to it finally. However, free to air channels have not caught up with 4K resolution so bi of a waste for that. Everything else is nice from pre recorded content. Changing channels is cumbersome and you have to use extra power to keep TV guide up to date. No Picture in Picture feature between sources which is pretty disappointing. But SONY never have features like that. Cant even record TV to USB HDD. Prefer a T9 keyboard over the on screen keyboard. Have hooked up my Amp output to HDMI inputs, but sound isn’t coming out despite the manuals both stating this is how to hook them up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstanding TV We bought this 85" Bravia 7 in December (2025) and it was delivered in early January 26. Its' the first truly high definition TV that we have had so I did a lot of research on it prior to purchase. We view streaming, DVD's, BluRay's and very rarely free to air TV. The picture quality is outstanding and I know some say the viewing off angle is not as good but we haven't found that at all. It did take a while to get use to the smart TV features and given the choice I would prefer just a normal old school interface but they do work well. Overall we are thrilled with our new TV and the quality of it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Incredible TV Purchased a month ago, absolutely loving it, it's a huge step up from my 10yr old 2nd Gen Sony 4k TV its replacing. Bright, Clear, Precise bravia 7 85 inch tv, lovng it. Finding the screen as amazing, I'm still learning it's features and operation, Google TV system is the best, the system is easy to use and enjoyable. Many reports of poor reflection and bad off angle viewing, I think the reflection reports are overblown, Bright enough for everyday use and who the heck watches a TV Off angle, not issues for me. Thanks Sony, my only gripe is the TV should come with a longer warranty.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do not buy [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely beautiful watching digital tv ie Netflix, YouTube etc but absolutely terrible tv watching free to air tv. Our signal quality is 100% and our signal strength is 98% so excellent signal. Watching football is simply not an option as the image is too blurry. We purchased this tv less than 2 weeks ago and are waiting to have this tv replaced. My sister purchased the same tv 2 weeks earlier and hers is the same.

I considered OLED but after research it worked out that Mini LED would suit me better because of the bright room that I’m going to use the TV in. The picture quality and brightness did not disappoint. It performed brilliantly in the daytime. And the nighttime performance blew me away, the blacks did not show up as grey even when I turned off the ambient light. I have no doubt the Bravia 9 will outperform the Bravia 7. But the money I saved now go towards the sound system and other AV equipment. No regrets.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from 85"SuperBravia7 [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I upgraded to this huge Bravia 7 85" from another Sony X900E 65" which is still running smoothly since 2017. Although the X900E has great motion performance and very good picture quality. This new 2024 Bravia 7 mini LED is next level perfect out of the box. It is super bright with impressive contrast and colors when testing out Blu-ray. Google TV is snappy and easy to navigate around. And the smaller remote is surprisingly comfortable to hold and use in comparison to their old school number pad remote. Found the screen to have minor glare despite being semi gloss display. Overall another extremely satisfied Sony product. Only reason for not getting all 5 stars is because it isn't a Bravia 9.

This TV delivers exceptional picture quality, characterized by sharp clarity and naturalistic colors. Its high peak brightness and effective local dimming contribute to impressive contrast, well-suited for viewing HDR content. Sony's XR image processor and the MediaTek Pentonic 1000 chipset, the BRAVIA 7 offers robust performance. It supports advanced gaming features, including Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) and 4K at 120Hz. TV is slow at startup. Only two HDMI ports support 4K at 120Hz, 1 for ARC which leaves only one for use.
