Works okay, but design flawWe have had ours for 3 years.
Is a useful cooker/microwave combo and works well.
However, the front door, now for the second time fills with water, and drips over anything below the cooker.
The first failing of this was covered under warranty, but now being told the second failure is not covered even though exactly the same failure, and within 2 years of repair.
Seems like an easy money making scheme to me for AEG. Design a flaw with product and force customers to have it repaired every few years.
Disappointed.

it needs a turntableI have owned this oven for over a year and though the heating/oven function is great, the microwave feature is awful (yes the whole point of buying it). The oven lacks a turntable and I was under the impression that the oven would have some sort of microwave stirrer ability, many top commercial microwaves have it in lieu of the turntable. Unfortunately not so, you need to constantly stop the oven and stir, otherwise the food will catch fire. Very disappointing

4 repairs in 2 years- CondensationThe oven has good features, but the build quality is shockingly bad, we have had the door replaced due to the seals breaking down 4 times in 26 months, i do not think i will ever buy AEG ever again, spending almost 4 times more on a kitchens appliances did not make good sense, or maybe i bought the wrong brand, very disappointing as i cannot change the appliance as the look will be spoilt, what happens at the end of the warranty, am i expected to buy a new door every 4-6 months....

microwave section not so simple to useWith no turntable the microwave has a lot of dead spots. One half of food would be boiling hot ,the other cold. Hard to get all the food at the same temp. Would rate the microwave side 3 out of 10.
finish beeper is set to high , but still very quiet. My hearing has been checked ok recently.
No pause button to check on cooking other than opening door .

Very disappointed considering the costVery underwhelming and fairly useless as a microwave which is what I bought it for. 30 second intervals is useless and it will only let you go up to 7 minutes. Lots of money wasted on this one which is a shame as the oven that I bought as well is awesome.

Unacceptable microwave but a good sized 2nd ovenGreat size to compliment main size oven but a poor flat bed microwave. Steamed riced in a microwave container which worked brilliantly in my old Panasonic microwave burnt rice on one side while just cooked on the other. Pot was turned halfway through cook (which was never needed on a turntable microwave) Also does the same with defrosting of bread and meats; frozen one side and cooked the other.
Also frustrating that the display brightness and typeface on this oven is different to the steam-boost click wheel oven. I would be more upset if these were stacked as the ovens look compatible.

Great appliance but condensation problemI had been using this product for about 9months and recently the door has trapped moisture causing it looked steamed up. You can’t physically take the door off or remove glass so you have to put the oven/grill onto high until the condensation evaporates. I almost have to this every other day now which is really annoying.

I have looked into this for you according the user manual, popcorn is cooked using the microwave function 1000 watts for between 1.3 and 3 minutes (see page 38).
