70cm induction ultimate taste cooktop
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this cooktop a month ago after my Westinghouse cooktop blew! 70cm cooktop is the perfect size especially if you don’t have the room for a 90cm.. I love the ability to be able to link the two cooking zones to offer a large cook area.. perfect for a griddle pan or roasting pot that would normally not fit on one zone.. the fast boiling point is amazing for boiling water in under a min! The best part is a simple wipe clean no scrubbing in corners or plates like you would with gas! Fast and efficient cooking with this induction cooktop!! Would definitely recommend!!

So fast, so responsive, so simple to use

Initially we were hesitant and a little sceptical however after the first use, we were totally impressed. No more boiling water in the kettle to get tea started. The keep warm function is so accurate and the Hob3Hood function with the integrated rangehood is so responsive automatically turning on. Choosing the 700wide unit alleviates clutter and is an ideal size for a busy kitchen. The bridging function was initially a must and so far it’s been a winner, allowing us to basically BBQ indoors, super smart

Upgrade to a 70cm cooktop
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently upgraded to the 70cm Ultimate Taste 700 4 Zone Induction Cooktop, and we absolutely love it! Previously, we had a 60cm induction cooktop, which worked well, but the extra 10cm on this model makes a world of difference.
The additional space allows us to comfortably cook with multiple pots and pans of various sizes at once—no more juggling or squeezing things in! The layout is well thought out, and the four induction zones heat up quickly and respond instantly to adjustments, giving us great control over cooking temperatures.

Love my Cooktop
Bought the Induction Cooktop several months ago. l was waiting on an Electrician to install and also capping Gas connection, after that and getting to experience the cooktop l was very happy. The Induction is fantastic, very efficient and easy to clean. It looks great and l also have an Electrolux Rangehood which combined with the cooktop is marvellous because when turning on the power it connects automatically with the rangehood which turns on the light and then when needed the fan. All automatic seamlessly!! l highly recommend this cooktop and rangehood. Thankyou Electrolux.

Bought this a short while ago. So far, am not sure that it meets my expectations in as far as what I was told prior to purchasing this cook top.
It does not heat up as quickly as I thought, after being told it would heat up that quickI would burn food until I got used to it?
Trying to press heat settings, numbers, sometimes it takes 6 tries to get the number I have chosen to work. Or, the one next to it turns on?
This I find very frustrating.
After trying to use all elements at once, 2 small, 2 large.
It was not successful.
Have not used the long element as yet.
On the positive side, when you turn the temperature down, it reacts quite quickly.
A little disappointed. It cost more than any other style cook top.

Great features and quality
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this cooktop about 6 weeks ago and we are thrilled with its performance. We previously had a gas hob and then moved to a property with an old ceramic hob which was hopeless.
I use the hob every day and can’t praise it enough - heard quickly and love the level cooking temperature. Made lasagne on the weekend and simmered the meat mixture for 40 minutes. The temperature and simmer remained constant and there were no temperature fluctuations. Love, love, love this hob!!!

Great Layout
I'd been very happy with my previous Electrolux 70cm cooktop which I'd bought in 2012, but it finally packed it in. This new cooktop has only recently come onto the market and so far I've been extremely happy with it. The layout is great, with the controls placed so that it allows maximum space for the pots. Although I haven't yet tried all of the features, it's performed very well. It's a pleasure to use and I'm so pleased it came out just at the time I was looking for a replacement.
