My mum had a Whirlpool and now I have one too!
Chose this gas cooktop for 3 reasons. Firstly because price very competitive for a 5 burner top. Secondly because the design made it possible to fit it into a much smaller bench opening. avoiding costly installation costs. Lastly it was offered as "easy maintenance with it's specially coated surface. I took this with a grain of salt but have found that it exceeds expectations as far as cleaning is concerned.

Whirlpool 5 Burner Gas Cooktop
Very nice design and good to use, except for the control knob on the large wok burner which does not turn fully anticlockwise by the normal action and pressure, you need to depress again fully to get it to turn the final section for the low flame section - nowhere is this explained and the Whirlpool people on their website were no help at all!

Best value cooktop!
Works perfectly, easy to use and keep clean. Burners work well and trivets hold pots & pans securely. Only complaint is the control knobs are too close together making cleaning between them a bit tight.
