Quality product, cheap to run!
Awesome build quality - solid door that goes 'chonk' when you shut it. Quiet operation - it does take longer than traditional vented dryers, but there's no steamy/dusty smell and your clothes feel so much softer and less not 'fried' like my old vented dryer. Have a family of 6 and do at least one load a day in my 16kg washer so usually do two loads in the dryer each day which was costing me a fortune using a 1.5 star rated vented dryer. Only had the Bosch for less than a week prior to the end of my current power bill and it was already around $20 less than the month before so am hoping that's a continuing downward trend - am sure it will pay itself off pretty fast based on that saving!

Great product but missing one thing
This is a great dryer. It works well once you know how to use it. Although it takes a while to dry, it uses very little electricity. The only thing missing seems to be a fitting to allow you to connect the drain outlet hose to a standard Australian trap connection, meaning that you can only drain into a sink or into the in-built water tank. Bosch does provide a fitting and their product manual shows that it should be able to connect, but it seems that this fitting is not suitable for the Australian market. I have been to a plumbing supplier and they note that the only way to make the connection work is to make up a special connection; they do not have any off-the-shelf adaptors. Bosch have not been helpful in assisting with this, indicating that all supplied parts should work. Perhaps it works for overseas markets, but not in Australia.

Would not buy again
I did not check if this dryer has a reverse function before buying and unfortunately due to environmental concerns it doesn't - beware your sheets will get rolled into a ball and you will forever need to untangle them while they dry.
Each cycle takes a really long time to dry.
On the plus side the dryer does not put lots of damp air into the room and is cheap to operate.
Next time I will buy a dryer that is more family friendly.

Do not buy
Do not buy this dryer. Drying time can be 4-5 hours and no matter what setting the dryer is on, clothes come out damp. Sheets roll into a ball and do not dry

It just works
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I made the jump to a bosch dryer and then bought an upgrade with my new washer. The thing I have found about the bosch range is they just work and work well. Its not flimsy, its going to throw whatever you can at it, it just works, every time. Another thing I have noticed is the design is well thought out, accessible filter, and the double lint catcher is a game changer. I am currently using the water catcher but will have it plumbed in shortly. I recommend bosch, This is my second bosch dryer and in 20 years when the time comes I would buy again. Did I mention its so quiet, can barely hear the washer and dryer going simultaneously in the next room.

Series 6 dryer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have been unable to use the dryer as the power cord is too short reach the power point. The dryer is sitting on top of matching washer which being on the floor is plugged in ok.
Why make the power cord so short? I now need to get an electrician to install another power point. Very frustrating.
I'm sure that I will be very happy with the dryer once I can use it but only 3 stars due to this design fault...and as this is going to cost me more.

Bosch Series 6 Heat Pump Dryer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very happy with our Series 6 dryer so far. It is very stable when drying and handles drying different types of clothes well. Tye barrel rotation is very stable and while it is slightly louder than our previous dryer it is not excessive. The ability to clean the top as well as condenser filter is very well designed and keeps the product working well. Very happy with it and will be purchasing from the Bosch brand again for household appliances. I run all Bosch brand tools for work which have also been flawless.

Life changing
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't know how or why people have issues with this dryer, as it's honestly the best appliance we have purchased since our robot vacuum. Such a time saver, dries things perfectly and within a really reasonable time. I haven't had to wait anything over 2h for a load of washing to dry (heavy cottons). A++ my only regret is that we waited so long to get one. The build quality is superb, my husband connected the water hose to drainage so I just load it up and push start and come back to dry fresh washing.
