We have had it for a few months and I love it. There is a variety of drying cycles to choose from as well as the level of dryness. It comes with a rack so you can dry shoes or soft toys with ease. It also has a timer so you know how long the cycle has to go. It is super easy to use and dry's a full load of clothes in less than 1.5 hours. I recommend emptying the water tray and lint filter after every load. This dryer has been a game changer for us and I would highly recommend this product, it is fantastic!

Efficiency and no condensation were at the top of my list. Unfortunately I discovered that these type of dryers take an extremely LONG time to dry anything and when drying sheet’s, they ALWAYS get tangled up and turn into a giant ball. We have also had a shaft bearing go after less than a year of use. The unit has a lot of cool features and F&P make a nice looking product but these particular dryers are not as amazing as they have been made out to be.

I like that there are a range of programmes with pre-determined selections for various types of clothes or you can create your own selections for drying. Clothes dry well without creasing and there is also a frame for drying things like shoes. The heat pump collects any moisture from the drying process, with the captured water either piped into the plumbing or into a cassette-type container. It is very simple to empty the container after each drying session (or a light will alert you to when it needs emptying). The heat pump feature was a key factor in my purchase decision because it ensures there is absolutely no condensation in my laundry when using the dryer.

Rated 2 out of 5 by A & N from Excessive Drying time We had no choice but to purchase a Heat Pump Dryer to match our F & P washing Machine. I am not very satisfied as it takes a considerable amount of time to dry our washing etc, and even then they are still damp and I ahve to run another 30 mins to one hours to get properly dry. I am not even sure if the 'Hot' drying setting actually works and if it does it may only be for a short amount of time. So although it is far more energy efficient, at the end of the day it takes quite a deal longer to dry my washing which then holds up the washing from the washing machine.

Fisher & Paykel 8kg Heat Pump Condenser Dryer comes with lint and condenser filters it traps lint and maintain efficient drying, also lint filter indicator a helpful feature that alerts you when it’s time to clean the filter, which helps prevent blockages and maintain performance.
