Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not worth the price This washing machine was delivered to us at the start of this year. As we have small children and need to use the washing machine frequently, we thought this would be a good investment. However, what we found was that it was no different than other washing machine, but also it resulted in the clothes washed having an unpleasant smell (no matter what laundry powder we used). Some of the towels we washed were also no longer as soft as they were before we washed it, and we use the OKOPower 1 hour option normally. After around 7 months of usage, we have also found mould in the gasket (even though we leave the laundry door open after every time we wash the clothes) and this is not covered under the 5 year warranty as it counts as being "normal wear and tear". Our previous washing machine was not nearly as expensive and did not have such problems.

Its large capacity easily handles family-sized loads, and the auto-dose detergent dispensing system is a game-changer. It eliminates the guesswork out of laundry detergent, making it safe and easy to teach children how to do their own laundry. This washing machine delivers excellent cleaning results with a variety of super quick and effective wash programs. Despite its efficiency, it still manages to be water and energy efficient. The AEG app is a great resource, providing step-by-step guidance to select the perfect program for your laundry based on the garment type, soil level, and color.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from 10 KG 9000 Front Loading Washing Machine [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Now that we have had 2 month's experience with the AEG washing machine, we can definitely recommend this as a very good option for someone looking for an efficient, easy and convenient to use washing machine that really gets the job done with little fuss. The automatic dispensing function is a highlight of this washer. The only issue is that this (and the dryer) do not have a delayed start function which would be very useful especially for people with time of day metering of their electricity.

This washer will last us outlast us and be inherited to the kids. Easy settings for all types of items from big sheets and divets to smaill items. The set and forget settings make life easy. This is on the bottom of the dryer and we thought there may be bending and lifting of the washing into and not of trhe maching, but it has be much easier than we expected. Not a wsorry forf elderly and arthritic ridden persons..

The difference is night and day. The washing comes out almost dry, which has been a huge time-saver. It’s also incredibly quiet, you can barely tell it’s even on. That alone has been a game changer in our home. I absolutely love the app. It works perfectly for my busy lifestyle and makes managing laundry so easy. Being able to customise washes is brilliant, and the built-in assistant that helps create the perfect wash cycle is such a smart feature. Overall, I’m beyond impressed, love, love, love this machine and would highly recommend it to anyone thinking about upgrading.

Mould in door seal and bad odour from initial week. Does not fully remove pet hair from the drum or seal and must run another cycle. Clothes never come out smelling fresh and clean despite experimenting with various cycles and detergent brands. Disappointed with the actual wash times, the vast majority take way too long.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An upgrade that adds the bits that were missing in the old model [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had the unfortunate experience that our previous AEG 9000 series gave up on us after giving exemplary service. Despite it being out of warranty, AEG gave us a very good deal on a replacement. The new machine adds some of the programs that were missing on the older one, like synthetics. Of course it still keeps up the great AEG wash quality that you come to expect from AEG.
