Completely broke down after 6.5 years
I brought this washer 6.5 years ago. I cleaned it regularly and looked after it as per instructons. It was a great washer while it lasted. The other day the drum completely detached and started making a horrible noise. I got a service person to look at it today and was told that it was uneconomical to repair as all the fixing inside the machine had rusted and other parts holding the drum in place had broken. My repairer told me that the washer has cheap parts and this is a common problem. I am very disappointed as I normally trust the FP brand.

Cleans well on quick wash!
We are so happy with our washing machine I tend do to my loads on quick wash and the clothes come out clean and fresh. The machine is really quiet and lives up to expectations with its capacity.

The silent achiever - My Fisher and Paykel
This little beauty is everything a family needs, its big enough for large loads sheets, blankets etc, tells you if the door is open! has many different functions, but best of all its a SILENT achiever, and we love it.

Excellent machine. It is quiet; can do all wash cycles on cold if I wanted to; can change the spin speed on almost all the wash cycles; can customise a wash cycle to what suits me; can do a 30 min quick wash if I don’t have time for a normal 1 hour wash. Clothes are clean. Very happy
