Great features and congratulations to Panasonic
After using a agitator model washing machine for over 60 years, it was a big challenge to move to this new model. One word covers it -- AMAZING! Ticks all the boxes and we thoroughly recommend it. One little hint -- the drain hose fitting needs to be a bit longer so it does not bounce out when draining. Go to Repco and they will cut you a short piece of rubber hose, soak it in hot water and push it on (job done).

A very basic machine.
Washes the clothes OK and is quiet but it doesn't have many wash options. No option for soak and hold and the spin cycle is too short and not a very fast spin. Has only one adjustable leg for levelling which is useless on a four legged machine. The automatic water level feature is designed to save water but it is too miserly and there's not enough water for a decent wash. When I set the level manually to a full 79 litres, it splashed water out of the machine on to the floor. I bought on special at $769 but at the full price of $1400+, I recommend buying something different.

Leaks under load
I've had this machine a year now, I've had repair men out 5 times due to intermittent leaking of water on my floors. I've persevered with it until the 6th time I called up, told harvey norman enough is enough...I want a replacement as not fit for purpose...but no the past 5 repair visits not good enough, have to go thru a whole new repair company, one I might add has zero customer service ... out come is 2 to 4 weeks waiting for parts machine is in their workshop, so for a month I'm out of a machine, I'm disabled so getting to laundromat out of question...so my advise, steer clear of this machine, it leaks, and although you persevere, which I shouldn't have from the first leak ....harvey norman still plays the oh we have to follow the process game...hello, I have a service provider 5 times out to try fixing machine, had to glue in a peice twice, to block the leak...now you've put me onto
another outfit....fed up...steer clear of this leaker...

I brought this Machine and it cleaned Great after about 4 weeks i noticed a leak Rang HN and technician dispatched to be told the Tub is faulty and It was replaced I brought a Westinghouse EasyCare 10kg Top Load Washer Dark Onyx machine so far so good on 2nd week in

Panasonic 10kg Long Cycle & Water Noise
Good size 10kg machine with no agitator in the middle so supposedly softer on clothes. However very loud whilst washing (big water sounds) and seems quite a long cycle. Does a good job, but I would look at other wash times to compare before purchasing again.
