The worst washing machine I’ve ever owned
I’ve had this machine for a week and I hate it. I’ve had multiple washing machines in my life and we were recommended this one for its capability to wash work wear.. even though the floor is level the machine goes unbalanced even with the smallest of loads it bounces all over the laundry. To the point it has self dinted itself. We are bitterly disappointed. I brought a bigger machine in the hope to do full loads to save washing time.I’m now at the point where I’m too scared to let my clothes spin. Thinking of selling it already and cut our losses to go back to what we know. Such a waste of money .

One step forward, two steps back
We purchased this machine to replace a Westinghouse we'd had for about 16 years which was sounding like a small jet was taking off in our laundry. This Westinghouse is okay and has some nice features and washes clothes well. One of the features I now unexpectedly love is the delay wash which allows me to load the washer the night before and have freshly washed clothes to hang out in the morning. My main disappointment is the spin - it does not get clothes as dry as my old one and I wish now I had bought a higher spin machine. However, it may be that it is kinder on clothes this way.
I also don't like that you can't 'fudge' the programs. I used to have an 'advance' button on my old machine if I wanted a quicker wash I could advance onto the next part of the cycle. Sometimes I want to do a quick full load but the quick cycle on this machine will only allow the smallest load. I will have to adjust the way I wash which is okay. If you change cycle mid-wash it will only yet you start from the beginning again.
I haven't experimented with the automatic water level yet much, the first time I tried it didn't put enough water and I mainly do full loads anyway.
The machine looks smart, has a flat lid and the functions are easy to set but there are many restrictions on which settings are available for each cycle. I wish it allowed a fully manual selection. It's nice and big so I do fewer loads. It is also very quiet. I like that it has a removable filter.

Excellent Washing machine
Excellent washing machine for family 10kg capacity top loading delivered on time we self installed the machine and could not be more happy.
I bought this a few weeks ago and I must say its brilliant . I had a Simpson previously but they are no longer available so I went for Westinghouse.So many features and so easy to use. My washing is clean and lint free and also not tangled up like some of the other reviews I saw.?? Luckily i look beyond negative feedback that is not warranted from people who dont know how to use a washing machine.It is a quiet machine and i love the functions available. Everything works perfectly and I wash daily and sometimes two to three loads. Well done

Couldn't be Happier
Over the moon, who gets excited over a washing machine? I do. We have a busy Airbnb, and washing quantity and quality are important. we went from a quality brand 7 Kg machine to the Westinghouse 10 Kg machine for two reasons: the increase in size, and it's the only machine we could find with an agitator. we are convinced the agitator makes the difference with less repeat washing. We also now have less work as this machine is capable of completing a full set of Queen bed linen in one load, two sheets,4 pillow slips, and the doona cover in one wash. We have used the machine for 4 months now and have fewer loads so less time and fewer repeat washes, couldn't be happier.

New water pump
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this product in September 2024 . It broke down in May 2025 due to the water pump not working anymore. It took 2 weeks for the mechanic to come & replace the water pump. We had to go to my son's house to do the washing for that 2 weeks. It was very inconvenient to have to do the washing that way for the 2 weeks. Luckily the washing machine was under warranty so we didn't have to pay for the new water pump.
The washing machine does work well but there is a build up of washing machine powder in the washing machine powder holder whicj=h I have to remove every few washes.

Hopeless machine
For the hour wash cycle it spends the 1st 12-14 minutes filling the machine. Then washes for 2 minutes, not near long enough in a 10kg machine, then empties the water and spins. You cannot customize the wash cycles to suit yourself. It’s not very user friendly. Hate it more than a front loader. I’ve always had top loaders. This is the worst.
Bring back the old fashioned customizable top loader machines with agitators.
