Rated 4 out of 5 by deednets from Great fridge with a design flaw Almost perfect. But there is this one thing that is difficult to find out about before you buy and that is the ice cube tray: In order to get to the ice cubes you need to pull out the whole bottom basket. At first I thought it was a joke, but it seems that the wheels can only be pulled out when you also pull out the lower basket, it is a design flaw. We can live with it as a return would be ridiculous because of this "issue", but annoying nevertheless. I guess the engineers had a coffee break and thought this was "good enough". In short: if you don't use ice cubes much, it's not a big deal but if you do, you better get used to this. Apart from this niggle a great fridge!

It seems to perform well, has good space and looks stylish too. The only complaint we have is it is a little too noisy at times, which is not ideal for an open-plan kitchen/dining/living room situation.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Kiwi-Rod from A very nice upgrade from my old F&P Elba [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I live rurally so I chose F&P because they are contactable through an online service should you have any problems. I also chose this particular fridge as I was replacing an old F&P Elba and they both have the same layout inside except this new fridge freezer is a little bigger. The light inside is the best I've ever seen in a fridge. It's really bright and lights up the entire fridge part. The slot on the side of the door could be taller as I have to reach down to open it. A light in the freezer would help, maybe put it on the inside of the freezer door near the hinge. Overall, I'm very happy with it so far.

Can you please tell me how long the power cord is on this fridge? I'm concerned if it has a short power cord we might not be able to plug it in due to the position of our electrical socket. Thanks!

Thank you for your question. According to the installation guide for the Fisher & Paykel 380L Bottom Mount Fridge Freezer (RF442BRPX6), the power cord length is stated as 1016mm long.
