Rated 5 out of 5 by Fridget in the limelight from Fridget speaks… I was recommended to my owner by her trusted sister, and I believe she’s happy with me. And why wouldn’t she be: I’m on my feet, working for her 24 hours a day! I’ve never giver her grief, even after being moved all the way from Tanawha on the Sunshine Coast to Cairns about 16 months ago (oh, the heat! But I have a great work ethic). My only problem- how embarrassing - is that my handle came loose, though a handyman fixed it with an Allen key. And that maybe because I get more use up here in the tropics: Alison now lives with her daughter and the need to wait 30 seconds or so to reopen once the door is shut took a little getting used to. I’m enjoying looking after the tropical fruit, the cool drinks, salads, and the sorbets & ice cream my family likes to eat. I love giving this service, it’s what I was born for! I look forward to gracing her kitchen in my quiet way for many years to come. And I must say she loves my sensible grey uniform which doesn’t show the dirt, though it’s what’s inside that counts.

The freezer is good but a bit small. The ice maker is a nice touch but sometimes you have to shake the ice around to fill it up. Otherwise great purchase.

The only negative so far is that the vegetable drawer is a bit sticky to open and close (and it has to be fully closed or the main door won’t shut). Otherwise a nice fridge.
