Noisy
Purchased this fridge freezer seven months ago. The size is fine for our needs. Wouldn't recommend, especially for open plan living, as it is very noisy. We are now looking to buy a new fridge freezer.

Fantastic Smaller Sized Fridge!

Our fridge cavity was a little on the small size this Westinghouse fridge/freezer was the best option by far! Bigger than out last fridge and so easy to install. The temperatures are great and really easy to set.
The instructions advised it could be quite noisy, compared to other fridges, but aside from the set up fans, we haven't noticed any noise issues.
We definitley recommend this fridge!

Looks the part
Have had Westinghouse previously, however the newer design just doesn't seem to make sense, compartments in freezer seem odd sizes and awkward to open. Can't get fridge cold enough even on coldest setting. However overall its an ok unit.

Fabulous fridge, lots of space, good price
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had our new fridge for about 6 weeks and are very happy with the purchase. It's a great size for 2 ppl but big enough in the fridge compartment to hold extra for family gatherings. The freezer is a bit smaller but the 3 slide out compartments are quite large. We didn't want a big fancy fridge so focussed on practical application and this does it for us, with the added bonus of a smooth exterior, no handle to get stuck on

Nice looking
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The fridge freezer looks nice. I ordered the left hand hinges because of the Kitchen layout but while the fridge door closes firmly, the freezer door has to be pushed firmly in order to ensure it is indeed closed. The freezer ‘drawers’ are really hopeless. One has to be very careful to align the sliders to the drawers which can be very deceptive as it can appear there are 2 sliders and then of course the drawers don’t line up.

The best little fridge
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This 308L bottom freezer is perfect for me as I have difficulty bending with the fridge on top it makes it so much easier for me to see everything in the fridge and easy access, it might be small but it is compact and can fit more than you think the freezer has ample space and the draws are so convenient to put all your food in with easy. This is a great fridge for apartments and looks so sleek.

Great fridge, I wish the interior lighting was brighter, otherwise can't fault it
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfect for a a smaller household, fits well into my limited cavity space. Its doing its job well, the ice tip trays are a vibe. The only detractor is the interior LED lights, I wish they were brighter. If the fridge is really full, the light is covered and lighting is quite dim. I am open to hearing about ways to improve this situation. Otherwise a great fridge and it working well.

Lower quality than older models
I purchased this Westinghouse fridge online without checking ut out in the shops first. While the Harvey Norman service was good, the fridge/freezer is not to my satisfaction. The reason I chose a Westinghouse is because my previous one was the same brand, and I had been happy with it for over 10 years. However, the quality of the new one is disappointing when compared to the older model.

How noisy is this fridge/freezer in decibels (dB)?
Thanks for your question. Every fridge has a compressor that creates a quiet humming noise. Sound levels vary by age of appliance, install location, and how it's used (within operating recommendations). Most manufacturers do not provide sound levels due to these factors. Hi Peter. The beauty of this model is it has a reversible door, so you have the option of having the hinge on the left or right. It doesn't come with a reversible kit, as these are sold separately for approximately $69.00 currently, but is subject to change. Have a chat with your local store and they can organise this. Where is ice box situated does it take up space in crisper department
Good question Joan. The twist and serve ice box is located in the top left of the bottom compartment. You will need to fill each tray manually this model is not plumbed. Trust this helps!
