Happy with purchaseI bought this about a month ago.
Pros:
- Nice design. Love the look of the black stainless steel. One of the few french door Fridge on the market that can fit into my fridge recess.
- Very quiet.
- Spacious fridge compartments.
- Love the adjustable door mount storage.
- Love the built in ice maker and water dispenser.
- Love the pull out freezer drawers.
- Great economy and power rating.
Cons (and reason for only 4 stars):
- Black stainless steel so easily scratch.
- The handle installation is clunky and cause scratches easily. Design can be improved.
- Space is tight in the freezer compartment. I feel that I can store less things in the freezer compared to my old top mount fridge of comparable freezer specification.

Elextrolux 491L 700 french door refrigeratorWe purchased this fridge in Jan 2022 and we have been totally happy with it.
It has loads of space for fruit and vegetable storage which is why we changed our fridge in the first place. We love the water outlet and the ice bucket, it has made is easier for us to drink more water during the day.
It is also a very good looking fridge and easy to keep clean.
The freezer compartment holds a lot of food and is designed in such a way that we can seperate foods which makes it much easier to find.
It keeps food very cold and most of all it is very quiet which is important to us as we have it near our dining table.

Amazing FridgeI bought this fridge back in march 2021 as it was the only fridge that fitted my cavity and was available on the market. Im so happy that we bought this fridge as it speaks class all round and not to mention that it's surpasses excellence on every level. It compliments the kitchen tremendously. We could not have bought a better fridge and at the time I didn't know that Electrolux is the best fridge on the market. It keeps all fruit and vegetables fresh for weeks. The size is more deceiving than I thought. Even though it's smaller than I anticipated, this fridge is quite spacious. The double French doors are just a bonus and with the wine rack it gives you more room if you need it

This is a nice sleek fridge.I am super impressed with the layout o9f both the fridge and freezer in this beautiful sleek design french door fridge.
I love the water dispenser as it will fill a bottle easily and the angel of the flow is perfect. The ice maker in the freezer is also perfect and takes little freezer space up and makes ideal sized ice blocks. This truly is a lovely easy to clean, access and use. fridge /freezer that looks stunning in the kitchen with its sleek uncomplicated lines; It fits perfectly into a cavity that doesn’t have to be too high and affords above cavity storage space.

A must purchase for any household !I recently bought this fridge, just to upgrade and I was pleasantly surprised by the size as I did not have that much room to work with and it was very hard to find a French door fridge to fit the space. The fridge is spacious and full of various compartments of different sizes, it’s doesn’t make a sound and with a nice dark stainless finish that is very easy to keep clean, full of numerous different settings, The ice machine is efficient and fast making and my drinks have never been colder would highly recommend to anyone !

Great features!I bought this fridge 15 days ago and we are extremely happy we did. It's very quiet and the features are great. We love the chilled water and ice making facilities, very spacious both inside the fridge and freezer areas. I can definitely recommend this model to anyone looking for a midsize French door family fridge with great looks and functionality!

Great FridgeI received my fridge about a week ago and am loving it! The ice making ice quite quick, and the storage is great. The only thing that I have noticed so far is that the doors are not as soft close as I was expecting but that is something I’ll have to get use to.

Furniture may take up to 8 weeks to deliver as most products are made specifically for your order. Some Customer Direct products are shipped from overseas and may take longer to arrive. If the fridge is installed by a corner so one of the doors will only open to 45°. Can the shelves still be removed for cleaning?

Hi Susan, thanks for your question. For adequate ventilation, please allow 5mm of clearance on each side of the fridge, 50mm for the rear, 50-90mm for the top. Please note, the fridge must sit at least 5mm proud of kitchen cabinetry for the doors to open. Hope this helps with your question.
