Best fridge ever.My old Westinghouse fridge died after 30 years service, so I decided to buy another Westinghouse. After a lot of looking around, I found my perfect fridge, a Westinghouse WHE 6000SA French Door 600L. This fridge has plenty of room, the shelves are movable to accommodate big and small items and the two crispers are very large. I love how the freezer has three sliding draws and is very roomy. I was very surprised to see just how much I could store in it. When the fridge doors are opened everything is very accessible and easy to see. This is one of the best fridges I have ever had. It's sleek, modern design will look great in any kitchen.

A great purchaseAfter a lot of research, we bought the 605L Stainless Steel French Door in Nov 2017. It has plenty of room for everything and lots of options to create the space configurations you need. The fruit and veg sections keep everything fresh and nothing gets frost bite. The freezer is excellent with plenty of room and is easily accessible. We did not want ice or water dispensers. This fridge is very quiet - a must for us as it's close to our bedroom. The fridge is sleek, modern, has a solid stainless steel finish, has a robust interior with great lighting inside, looks great and is easily cleaned. It really is everything we hoped it would be.

Best ever fridgeBrought this 605l French door fridge just over 6 months ago and i absolutely love it. I have always owned Westinghouse fridges and found them to be maintenance free. Reason i brought this is i needed a bigger freezer and of course it excels all my expectations. The technology in this fridge is so more advanced than my old one of 15years. My veggies and fruit are keeping longer and i love love the French doors. My power bill is actually less as well which surprised me as i have now a bigger fridge.
Yes highly recommend this fridge. I wanted a fridge with ice making and cold water but im renting and most places dont have it plumbed for it.

How much electricty?Has been installed for a month. We like the french doors and draw freezer. So as a fridge freezer it is fine.
I am somewhat deaf as an older male but this fridge is nowhere as quiet as the smaller fridge it replaces. I still notice it running after a month of acclimatisation.
It also seems to run for a long time - a lot of time - I simply do not know if this is normal or is consuming more power that indicated. Too early to tell id the power bill is substantially increased.
The other issue I have is not technical, just the fact that in NZ we pay approx. 30% more for the exact same item from the same store in Australia. It seems this applies to all appliances!!!

Quiet and SpaciousI bought this fridge to fit exactly into a very specific fridge space of 900mm width by 1770mm height. It was the only one I could find and thank goodness for that. It's everything I ever wanted in a fridge - french doors, pull-out freezer and clean lines (no water dispenser please). The fridge and freezer sections are spacious but because the freezer drawer is rather massive, I was afraid the handle might break off if pulled too hard. Only time will tell. I've had it for over a month now and so far so good. My kitchen opens out to the dining and living area so I needed a good-looking fridge that is also quiet. I'm happy with everything about it.

Great Value for MoneyI set out to buy a fridge that didn't have an ice maker / water dispenser attached to the front door because we are in rural NSW and it's just one less thing that can go wrong.
My so called 'basic fridge' was a wonderful surprise. When I opened the fridge door after it was plugged the first thing I noticed was the special lighting makes which makes it so much easier to find things. Of course, because I don't have those extra features (ice / water) here is so much more room!
I like the temperature zones in the freezer section, no more rock hard ice-cream as I can choose between 3 temperature settings.

Great capacityWe bought this fridge about a month ago and absolutely love it. There is so much room in it, and the freezer as well. The crisper drawers hold so much in them and we love the horizontal shelf for wines and other bottles. Another great feature is having the double door width which means we can prepare dinner in advance and have plenty of room to put a large tray in the fridge until the evening. We are going to be building soon and have plenty of room in the scullery for this fridge. We will be getting another Westinghouse fridge with ice and water dispensers to put in the kitchen. We love that we can still use our favourite fridge magnets on it. Happy days!

Great use of space.My older Westinghouse Side-by-Side Fridge Freezer was great, but did not fit in the new space. I chose a similar but narrower Westinghouse French Door Fridge Freezer, but was worried that I would not be able to fit as much food in as before. I was delighted to find this was not a problem at all! The extra wide fridge shelves, the very spacious storage in the doors, along with three flexible freezer drawers has allowed me to store at least as much as before, all within easy reach. And I still had the old features I loved: the convenient ice-maker, wine rack and medicine storage area. I could not be happier with my choice.

Hi there. Thanks for your question. Yes this fridge needs to be plumbed into your water supply. The water dispenser and automatic ice maker require a drinkable water supply with a pressure range of between 206kPa and 689kPa. Hope this helps with your query.
