Whirlpool 7kg Top Loader Washing Machine
Have always been a Whirlpool owner. Was a little hesitant to buy a totally auto machine but changed my mind after first load. It's absolutely brilliant. Quick washing cycle, good range of programs and can be used for individual functions like rinse or spin only quite easily. Quite conservative on power and water as well which is a bonus. Seems to be a creditable alternative for those who dislike front loaders. Totally impressed with this machine so far. It seems to wash all items cleanly and the lint filter really works. Was astounded how much it removes. Also it's reasonably quiet which is a bonus. Last comment, I purchased this model after reading very positive reviews and can only add more of the same. Good work Whirlpool.

Big family, great machine.
The quick wash cycle is great for a family that is busy and on the go. Was worried about not having an agitator in the middle from previous machines but have found the whirlpool 7kg top loader great. With a family of 6, 2 adults 4 kids and ALOT of washing this machine was a great purchase. I hesitated buying a 7kg for such a big family but I have been surprised with actually how much it holds and how quickly I can see the bottom of my washing basket (this is rare). Would highly recommend this machine. The pricing was perfect too in these tough times we are living in.

Don't buy this machine
DONT BUY THIS MACHINE. I completely regret buying it. It's incredibly noisy. It doesn't spin the water out of the clothes - they're still wet after the spin. It doesn't rinse properly - there is still detergent residue on the clothes no matter how much detergent I use and no matter how many times I put it through a rinse cycle. The clothes get completely tangled - they come out in one big tangled lump. This probably contributes to the poor rinsing.
I now have to buy a new machine which, being a senior, I can't afford. Retailers should not stock this machine as it ends up badly affecting buyers.

Great little machine.
As a one person household I have found this machine to be more than enough to suite my needs. Big enough for doonas gentle enough for fragile materials. I really like the multitude of programming available from quick wash to the full cycles. Being a child of the fifties ( 1955 the year of the great Chicko roll ) I have to be honest and say I needed the grandkids help with working out how to use for a couple of times. But now quite simple to use. Good machine at a good price.
