Terrible
Harvey Norman has sold us a lot of stuff over the years and it is generally excellent but this would be the clear exception. Very cheap wood. Falling apart after less than a year and just generally very poor quality. It looks nice and the bed head is good but the frame and slats are really really poor.

Is this bed very sturdy?
Hi Lexi. This bed has passed all our weight and construction requirements. It is made from MDF with fabric covering. The bed has a weight restriction of approximately 200kgs (including the weight of the mattress). Hope this helps

I am interested in this bed as well as the Calypso Queen, please can you tell me how theyvare assembled and what kind of slats they have, if you have pictures of the base of the beds without the mattress would be helpful.
Hi Sharon. Thanks for your question. The slats of both the Emma and Calypso are wooden slats. The slats of the Emma are rubberwood. Unfortunately we do not have images of the beds showing the slats only. Both beds come unassembled to help with delivery. The beds come with easy step by step assembly instructions.
