Really nice bed, good quality, very comfy, assembly was reasonable, I would rate myself as a very competent diyer and found it not too hard. The ladder is not the best for descending, I will probably make my own ladder which is longer and a slight angle as opposed to vertical one with the bed.

What is the preferred thickness of both mattresses?
Hi there. The bunk takes standard New Zealand double and single sized mattresses. For safety, it is recommended that the top single mattress have a height of 20cm or less due to the height of the bunk side rails. The double mattress can be thicker. We trust this helps with your query

Can the top bunk be turned around so lader on left not right
